Because it’s only available through Starz but you can get Starz as an add on for all of those other ones. Notice they all say “Premium Subscription” instead of just “Subscription”
I've tried many times to cancel and they'll reduce it for 3 months to be somewhere between 50 cents and 3 bucks for 3 months. I've basically paid probably $50 total for over 3 years of it
Curious, why do most here not use free streaming sites like sudo-flix or others mentioned in the wiki? Maybe I'm lazy, but streaming seems much easier than torrenting/ downloading and managing a large library.
I'm also more of a streamer myself but I can see the appeal of collecting your own catalog of movies/series in high quality. You can even automate downloading new releases and what not so once you've set it up it can be quite convenient to have your own media server to stream from I guess..
I have really fast internet and with Real Debrid I have access to basically everything ever put to film, whenever I want. Much more appealing to me than hoarding hundreds of TB of stuff.
Sorry for the basic question, but what's the advantage of using Real Debrid vs just going to a free streaming site? I looked at Real Debrid's website, but still don't understand what it does.
Much much much more high quality files, always available at max speed, no ads anywhere, and can be integrated into apps like stremio and Kodi so you don't need to be on a PC with a browser.
Sorry to answer the other part of your question, it's like a seedbox of sorts. They're torrents which are always seeded at the highest possible speed, if that makes sense, so if your internet is fast enough, you can stream 80GB torrents (which I do). There won't be an archive of torrents for you to download or anything, most commonly you use something like Stremio or Kodi with plugins to read the catalogue. Stremio with the Torrentio plugin is the easiest place to start, give it a look.
Just coming back to give you a big thank you. Before your comment, I had never heard of Stremio or Real Debrid. I read up and installed them on my Firestick last night and holy crap, what an amazing platform! Everything you could want for next to nothing. Great advice!!
Welcome aboard. Glad to help. If you're using Stremio there are subtitles add-ons which are helpful. Kodi too but Kodi is a lot more involved (although that's personally what I used at home on my main TV).
It's not bad; just irrelevant to the original comment, which is referring to most standard free streaming sites like FMovies, where those are the servers that host the movie files.
I haven't tried, and I'm not willing to get redirected on every click. Get a browser app that allows adding extensions (highly recommend firefox), add uBlock Origin, and you should be set
It's not. Just get a browser that allows you to use adblocker, and you'll be fine. I use Samsung Internet and AdBlock for Samsung Internet (installed from the browser's suggestions) for this, and it works flawlessly
It’s embarrassing that I don’t know this but my real concern is whether it’s actually possible to get caught and arrested/sued for watching hella shit on Fmovies. My roommate and I share a WiFi and he’s tripping out haha
Depends on your country.
For example, my country (India) has laws against piracy, but no one ever gets taken to court because our law enforcement has their priorities set straight and cares more about the more serious cases. The only thing done against us is our Internet Service Provider blocking the website on their network, so that we can't access without a VPN.
On the other hand, we have Germany, which has been known for issuing fines to people whenever they are caught torrenting without a VPN.
Basically, if you're scared of getting caught, use a VPN
First of all, you need to register to Telegram and give your phone number.
Second, it's complicated process. Subscribe to the channel, and write movie name and wait for bot to serve you the links (without subtitles).
Third, you can't watch it directly on TV as Telegram is only available for PC and desktop (web version).
Why are you hating telegram though? (Meanwhile me who got his number banned from telegram for 6 months without any reason)
"Complicated process", not really though. I have 2 folders (so around 100+ channels/groups) that provides direct streamable files. I know those are difficult to find since they open once every 2-3 months, but you can join channels who provide links to those ones when they open or just join their waiting/backup channel for invite link. For my region "TELEInvite" and "Invite Links Telegram" are two channels who post the invite links when any private channel/group opens.
Well they also have subtitles (not hardcoded on the video), but if there isn't any, then I just use VLC's feature to search and get me subtitles.
"Can't directly watch on TV", but I can download it. The channels/groups that I've joined, few of them have their forwarding off, making it only stream on the app itself and not save/download. But many channels have their forwarding on and we can download the files. If the speed is slow then forward it to a free Mirror/Leech group and mirror it to their gdrive, then download it from the gdrive link.
Lastly, I know that "Telegram" was an irrelevant option (got to know from the above comments), and I apologize for my misunderstanding.
If you think that's the case then I'm sorry for sounding that way. I know that Telegram was an irrelevant option, even though my intent was to ask (as in if telegram is a valid option here or not) using the question mark, but reddit is reddit.
Also I know that any Telegram newcomer will think that it's the worst place for downloading anything, since all they will find in the first place is a bunch of shortened urls with hundreds of redirects, and I thought that the above person mostly encountered either bots (with expiry token system) or urls on the app, so that's why I told them my side of the story (that there are channels and groups who provide direct files).
If you can find it (like any invite links channel which posts updated invite links of those types of private channels/groups), then it's good. If you can't find it, then there are alternatives of alternatives all available on the net. It's not like I'm forcing you to only use Telegram for your needs, or Telegram is Better. I just shared what I saw on telegram after unlocking a part of the community there. Who knows how many more communities are there who are also private and accept invitations once every 2-3 months.
If you have navigated yourself inside a network/federation, in telegram, then you'll surely find some stuffs. If you don't want to waste time on finding channels, then magnet links are only few clicks away. It's just that I thought that Telegram sometimes has easy access for stuff because of the channels I've joined, and I should share a bit about it to the fellow person in the above comment.
I don't think I should care about the downvotes and karma, because again reddit is reddit. But if I really sounded like a needless person then I apologize again for it.
For me is Sonarr / Radarr + Plex. There's something almost erotic in manually downloading pieces of media content and seeing the % number reaching 100%
Honestly if i had a lotta storage i’d just make my own mini media server and share it w my friends, i don’t even know how i’d manage downloading so many titles but ik wym by “seeing the % number reaching 100%” and it also applies to the amount of content you have stored too, at least that’s my experience with game roms
For me I’ve setup a small media server for me and my family. I usually download stuff I want to watch but also take requests from my dad or sister when they ask me they want to watch a particular show and I just download it for them, then after they tell me they’ve seen it I removed from the server as to free up more space
Also the only way to actually watch 4K content, in my experience. Unless it's a recent movie or show, Stremio buffers a lot doing 4K.
I also have an LG TV, so I would have to manually download it and remux the file as an MP4 anyways if I wanted to use Dolby Vision.
I use Stremio and I dont experience buffering with 4K 🤷♂️.
I do use a debrid service though. That is heavily recommended for Stremio and 4K content though.
Yeah, that's basically my issue since I don't use a debrid service. Might sign up for one eventually since it's just far more convenient than normal torrenting.
Yh i use it to download all kinds of torrents. I didnt think it would be this useful.
If 4K content is what you mainly watch, then I would highly recommend you to get one. Its just click and play with Stremio.
if you are into progress bars, but don't have the storage: there's also the folding@home and seti@home projects (and various others) where you "donate" cpu/gpu time for public research purposes.
i tried this and it takes forever to buffer (i get it why, because is a torrent and torrents takes a while to pick up while they find the good seeds)
Im told i have to use it combined with realdebrid that takes care of the buffering, but idk... i dont really need a VPN and i dont watch movies that often. So i just download the torrent, let it load mostly and just watch it with VLC
RD is so worth getting, my internet is super slow, but I can easily play large 4k files with no buffering. Idk how it works, but there’s no way I can stream a 4k video normally
I use it without real debird and i don’t really have much troubles,i mean they exist but it’s livable, it depends a lot in which link you choose, the amount of seeders and the weight in gb of the one you choose, also since it’s torrent it depends on both upload and download speeds of your wifi. If you have decent wifi and watch popular shows that many people are seeding at that moment you shouldn’t have much troubles w buffering, also remember that language may be a issue too for the amount of seeders since english has more people watching generally.
There is actually something like that for [MAL](https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/429784-search-helper-mal) and [IMDB](https://github.com/Purfview/IMDb-Scout-Mod); [Steam](https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/by-site/steampowered.com)
Except it's significantly less expensive than subbing to even one, let alone multiple, streaming services, and doesn't ever buffer when streaming like torrents can (especially less popular torrents).
> Stremio with Real Debrid is the best thing I ever came across on r/piracy
I've even gone as far as setting this up for a few mates/family members. It's just *too* good/easy.
The benefit of Stremio is the simplicity of its initial setup and its netflix-like UI. I still use Kodi, but I've heard other people have problems with addons breaking constantly and whatnot.
I would recommend Stremio to people new to pirating or someone who is using movie sites and is looking for a better solution that supports 4K and no buffering.
Stremio's addons dont break, but some do get a bit of downtime, which is usually resolved quite quickly. You can try Stremio, but I wouldn't say it has any benefits over Kodi once you have it set up.
Stremio is also much more lightweight as an app compared to Kodi which makes it easier to run on low-end devices.
It still might be worth trying and seeing for yourself.
If you are interested, here is a [guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/StremioAddons/s/MRSzYyYzqI) for Stremio
I always preferred having the files on my little makeshift server, manually downloading the exact file I wanted, but I gave stremio a try and then when I wanted to watch something that had only 1 seeder who disappeared half way through, I decided to get real debrid and I was blown away. is it supposed to be a bad thing that the movie is available in a bunch of different streaming services rather than being exclusive to a single app? more people can enjoy it regardless of the service they pay for. what's the issue again?
What's the point of this? If you're pirating you have so many more so it's not the number. If it's to brag about not paying... Why? Just do your thing.
Yeah, this is particularly cringe tbh. And actually, I never pirate if there’s so many options available…
For a 1950s movie where all the production is dead - then yeah… maybe pirate makes more sense. But ethically it’s stupid to do this and then brag about it. 🤦♂️
Yesterday I started with the boys and was trying to watch it on stremio but i couldn't really find a good provider so i thought.?, wait aren't i paying for amazon prime. So I went over to amazon prime and guess what: two ads before anything even starts playing and then 6 midroll ads during one episode. Said nope and went back to stremio, found a provider and was watching it there in 4k
The best thing is when it’s only on amazon prime and besides already having a subscription you are going to need to pay 5€ in order to be able to watch it for 2 days from the payment
This is honestly how streaming should be for all movies! The having to joint different services for a few specific things is just to much fragmentation and way to many subscriptions!
My family pays for a few streaming services, so I'll often use that because it's still just *slightly* more convenient than pirating for some things.
"$3.99 on YouTube Movies" is the real "fuck you".
Because it’s only available through Starz but you can get Starz as an add on for all of those other ones. Notice they all say “Premium Subscription” instead of just “Subscription”
I was gonna say, it would actually be great if it was available on this many platforms.
Starz is like $6 a month and $.50 cents a month if you try to cancel. Most reasonable streaming service out there
They do the internet company thing where they actually lower your price if you want to cancel?
I've tried many times to cancel and they'll reduce it for 3 months to be somewhere between 50 cents and 3 bucks for 3 months. I've basically paid probably $50 total for over 3 years of it
Agreed. Works good for music. Exclusives need to end
Nasty marketing
Weird, I only get 3 options: - Vidplay - MyCloud - Filemoon
Mine changed the first two options, now it's: - F2Cloud - MegaCloud - Filemoon
Weird mine only says Torrentio.
I get only one option \[RD+\] but in different resolutions 😅
Curious, why do most here not use free streaming sites like sudo-flix or others mentioned in the wiki? Maybe I'm lazy, but streaming seems much easier than torrenting/ downloading and managing a large library.

idk, I like watching some of my movies in a Bitrate I like, which some of these websites don't offer
Pizza hut?
Makin' it great!
Weird. Mine says don’t bother and just pirate it…
Telegram?
Wait why's everyone downvoting this? I genuinely want to know why's telegram bad?
It's not bad; just irrelevant to the original comment, which is referring to most standard free streaming sites like FMovies, where those are the servers that host the movie files.
Serious question: is it sketchy to watch Fmovies from your phone?
I haven't tried, and I'm not willing to get redirected on every click. Get a browser app that allows adding extensions (highly recommend firefox), add uBlock Origin, and you should be set
just set dns.adguard.com to be your private DNS on your phone
This also nullifies in-app ads, which is great
If you're at this point, why not just use Stremio
It's not. Just get a browser that allows you to use adblocker, and you'll be fine. I use Samsung Internet and AdBlock for Samsung Internet (installed from the browser's suggestions) for this, and it works flawlessly

No
Oh. I thought since the app has streamable videos it should be one of the options too, but I was wrong here.
Reddit hive mind.
upvoting to hopefully cancel your future downvotes❤️

seems needlessly niche-ified from my perspective but I'm never hunting for anything obscure or watching anywhere but my pc

Don’t forget RD :)
I’m a cheap fuck and i just download the content directly from the site before watching if it gives me buffering issues
No this is no. 2 No. 1 is self hosted Jellyfin server
Yea tho i don’t have big enough drives rn
where is the option for braflix?
Braflix kinda whack don’t even auto play to next episode for tv shows
The ui and player suck
Weird, I think I have the option to auto play from the episodes menu.
what about Binged though? tried FMovies and while they do work in my PC, it redirects like hell on my phone :(
The thought of raw dogging the internet without an ad blocker terrifies me
Download an adblocker browser app on your phone
would be neat to see duckduckgo or something implement this same feature but with magnet links
I did make a tampermonkey script to replace some with streaming sites, and could probably do the same with magnets, but idk where I would source them

"youtube" and "youtube TV" should just be one option, if you pay for the movie you should be able to access it across both services..
ah yes but why do that when you can make more money
Stremio with Real Debrid is the best thing I ever came across on r/piracy
Shhhh...keep it secret, keep it safe.
The more popular it gets the quicker they take it down or the more likely it is to turn into a site like 123movies that has a million ads.
Ads? What are those? (Ublock origin)
oh no, a piracy thing I need a premium subscription to use goes down, seems like kicking the can down the road to me.
Yea it’s literally just paying for the same thing they are paying for except it can disappear any day.
Except it's significantly less expensive than subbing to even one, let alone multiple, streaming services, and doesn't ever buffer when streaming like torrents can (especially less popular torrents).
I do something that is even cheaper and involves no torrents and one app on a phone that casts to all of my devices.
> Stremio with Real Debrid is the best thing I ever came across on r/piracy I've even gone as far as setting this up for a few mates/family members. It's just *too* good/easy.
I’ve only ever been using Seren for years is Stremio better?

I'm a salty relic, but I'm super impressed with this kit. It's amazing tbh
It really is an all in one for me. Pretty amazing
I always preferred having the files on my little makeshift server, manually downloading the exact file I wanted, but I gave stremio a try and then when I wanted to watch something that had only 1 seeder who disappeared half way through, I decided to get real debrid and I was blown away. Wait, does this fix the issue of older things being unable to play due to not enough seeders?
Yes.
How?
Real debrid caches torrents
Collin needs help
Yeah man, sounds like Colin could be in some serious trouble...
Thought so too. Sounds like a good movie. I was hoping someone in the comments wrote the name.
It's called "Blindspotting"- it's great!
Plex for me.
Yep, just Plex for me too.
Technicaly this should be the norm, all platforms should have all the content and you choose platform by the perks of the app like offline content, subs preferences, easy to navigate and actually thought recommendations
is it supposed to be a bad thing that the movie is available in a bunch of different streaming services rather than being exclusive to a single app? more people can enjoy it regardless of the service they pay for. what's the issue again?
Yeah I have no idea what the post is trying to say, I kept looking at the image like I'd find a hidden joke or something
no they can't. its starz, which means you almost all of those you can't get it without paying for the starz add-on
What's the point of this? If you're pirating you have so many more so it's not the number. If it's to brag about not paying... Why? Just do your thing.

Oh, Scotty doesn't know!
Must be John Cena cause I can't see them
Blindspotting is a great movie fwiw.
Free on my Plex server
Available everywhere except Netflix lol
That's a weird way to say torrent
Fmovies my beloved
hey this is blindspotting (2018) !!
Web video cast and any site that is working👌
This is why i used Cloudstream for phones and tablets then Stremio in laptop or PC
What app is this?
*laughs in 10 pages of 1337x*
I don't see 1337x on the list 🤔
I don’t see 1337x on there??
Yes. There are so many torrents for one movie.
I don't know what you are all talking about I don't see stremio lol
Yesterday I started with the boys and was trying to watch it on stremio but i couldn't really find a good provider so i thought.?, wait aren't i paying for amazon prime. This is honestly how streaming should be for all movies! The having to joint different services for a few specific things is just to much fragmentation and way to many subscriptions!
not seeing real debrid on there ;)
But I still watch it for free lmao
Watched it for free on fmovies last night. Didn't expect this post to do well but at least I'm not alone 😅.
OTT platforms have now become the very thing they swipe to destroy, multiple TV channel subscriptions
My family pays for a few streaming services, so I'll often use that because it's still just *slightly* more convenient than pirating for some things. "$3.99 on YouTube Movies" is the real "fuck you".
Amazing 🤩
