Waring: opacity and subpixel movement were used here!

Unfortunately I failed this time to find original author of the photo I used as a basis for this scene

Thank you for being honest about Pixel-over/Trace
I get negative when people take obvious photos, de-rez them and touch it up and call it "hand pixelled"
I love this! You did a fantastic job at turning this into pixels and animating it.
Also went over your Instagram for a moment. Lovely work!
The scene with the car and the snowflakes just go in front of the lights made me feel so cozy.
This is how you take a photo and turn it into a fantastic piece of pixel art. Very pleasant on the eyes, very realistic yet clearly and cleanly pixelated.
Perfectly balanced.
Good job!
Edit: I love the additional details you add like small pieces of dust getting caught in the light.
Take an image, scale down Resolution, correct default and apply animation. Well it is actually more complex than this and you also have the aesthetic of the artist but you get the gist of it !
If you wanna try to do it there is tools like pixel over. They even work with 3D models etc.
The slight sway you added is a nice addition that helps complete it, I notice the foreground is swaying just slightly as well, did you just do that with video editing software? Or did you lay it out in 3D?
sometimes traveling this way feel better than visiting places. in India, not many travelers take the slow local train where you can just watch the beautiful nature out the window for days for pretty much a dime. memories of a lifetime.
This is perhaps my favorite pixel art I've ever seen. The parallax is perfectly realistic, the colors and texture create a wonderful mood that I just completely fall into.
This is a masterpiece.
Dang, nice! The sleeper car reminds me of something out of a 90's game, like 7th Guest or Phantasmagoria; its the way the animation would look when it changed from a static image to a moving/interaction one.
Please tell me I'm not screaming into the void, and at least one other person gets what I'm saying.

I love that you added the progress gif. Nice to see all the different details you did.
Still looks great to me. I would love to play a train mystery game that used this style
I suppose that the original photo was taken at the Ukrainian Railways' coupe wagon, around 2005-2015 I'll never forget these lamps' looks
Fucking perfection! 🙌🏼 i follow your insta for months! Keep up that good work mate!
Wow! At first glance, I thought this was a gif from an IRL video 😍
Same. Only the window gave it away. The lighting inside the car is phenomenal.

Ahaha, have no problem with that, it's my style
so how exactly do you go about that? do you do the same process for each picture or is it different depending?
Gives me an early 'hi-res' adventure vibe. Like 7th Guest or 11th Hour.
Resident Evil 1 on lowest graphic settings lol
It looks fucking good too
Whatever the method, I wish more developers would've known about it back in the 80s and 90s.
I'm sure they were smarter then me, and made some real advantages in these periods. I'm just doing cozy stuff
It's quite cozy, but there could be cozy areas in video games.
For some reason it males me recall X-Files the game even if that was just some sd pictures and nothing was moving in the background
Ps1 final Fantasy vibes 👍👍
I almost feel the smell. There must be some packages with food on the table, some chicken maybe wodka lol
Vodka. Not Wodka 🤣
Oh, I missed one dude with hole in his socks on the upper level XD and hypnotic sound “tuduh tuduh, tuduh tuduh”
Funnily enough some languages do spell it like that but not English

How?!

DAM! THATS PIXEL ART I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST 720P
I didn’t notice it was pixel art at first!
Love this style!
Looks really cool, but i don't like the sliding animation, it's too smooth and not pixel perfect.
Ok
Wow
This is the most realistic lighting I have ever seen in pixel art. Legit thought it was a low res video clip at first
Why is this shit in pixel ART. MAKE THE FUCKIN ART, TF THE MODS DOING HERE
When you fall asleep in Spain and wake up in China.
Imagine a FFVII remake like this. Cool esthetic, less work, more content.
wow!!!
So realistic!
This is so strange yet fascinating and beautiful how real this looks for being pixel art. Love this
Looks great
Looks like an amalgamation of 2D prerendered backgrounds with a pixelated cover. Very impressive.
That's so cool
The movement is beautiful
I’m obsessed
This messed with my head.
Im picturing the first few elder scrolls games but a little more modern and you gotta get on a train to get to the next destination.
Beautiful
Incredible colors
I though Gabriel knight would step in at some point
Love this so much! You're soooo talented 🐾🐾

I still cant get over thinking its a real gif with a slightly blurry camera
This sub is getting crazier everyday. I swear, I didn't realize this was pixelart until I clicked on it.
This looks like real life but just a pixel filter. Pretty cool
The lighting is perfect, I thought it was irl
i thought this was a irl vid
WTF
Fucking bravo
Took me a while before I realized this is a pixel art and not real video :D
The slight sway you added is a nice addition that helps complete it, I notice the foreground is swaying just slightly as well, did you just do that with video editing software? Or did you lay it out in 3D?
WOW!
I want to live here
Good grief that's exceptional
Incredible, well done.
I want to sleep on a train but sadly I live in America
is this what a normal sleeper car looks like? it's so cozy
Fucking dope, dude. Love that shit
I had to look at the subreddit before realizing that was a pixel art. It’s really good
Gave me the feel I love about taking night train
Really nice. Made me appreciate all the fine colors.
Took me 3 seconds to notice it wasn’t real. Nice

Ahhh
sometimes traveling this way feel better than visiting places. in India, not many travelers take the slow local train where you can just watch the beautiful nature out the window for days for pretty much a dime. memories of a lifetime.
Its so good
I totally thought that was just a camera filter.

I thought that was a photograph for a second
I thought that was a photograph for a second
Beautiful stuff
this is amazing. I thought it was a video at first.
This is amazing and I can hear so many sounds and smell so many smells.
Was not expecting this to be pixel. You’re a magician
Feels like a pc adventure game for windows 98
This looks extremely Russian lol
This types of video is where it can either go chill and relaxing or downright disturbing with the right soundtrack slapped on it.
Man, now I want to do a train trip
Memory unlocked: being woken up by mom at 9 AM when we are arriving at our station
Це ж ті купе, що в 2000х-2010х всюди ходили, так?
Without looking directly I almost thought as if this were rl video , so good job .
Very relaxing.
Damn, this one vibes.
Wow the colors are just right for this to fuck with me
Holy SHIT!!!
I love how calming this is
The lighting is *chef’s kiss* a whole vibe
I’ve seen a lot of pixel art on this thread and I have to say this is my favorite one thus far!!
I legit thought this was a different subreddit and scrolled by before my brain thought something was off about the image lol. This looks awesome!
This looks incredible.
It reminds me of the graphics in Myst.
thought it was an actual picture for a second, great work
Really neat.
This looked like a actual photo at first
Damn, this took a solid minute for my brain to comprehend that this was pixel art.
So cool
This is stunning bro
This is all I’ve ever wanted in life
Its not hand pixeled, right?
Do you see the post flair?
Oh no now is see that
This is what I mean when I say cozy. Nice job, OP!
How do people make such art? What program us used to convert a video to pixel art? Love it
Strong lofi vibes right there
Amazing works
what the actual fuck how are you this good
Such a cozy mood.
Amazingly realistic! Have no words...
Hotel Dusk: Room 215 vibes.
The sheets could be done better , but good job on everything else
Would you like to make sheets for me?
Dude , the most complex thing I have drawn in pixel art is packman.
Theirs something so appealing of 2.5D I can’t explain.
Pure 2d, only visual effects and tricks
It looks like a pixilated 3d render Amazing
No 3d particles were harmed in this animation
Oook considering my progress in pixelart I might be this good after 200yrs. 😅 You are great! Keep it up!
My man's just used an Android to take a vid and called it pixel art😏🤦🤣
Like a movie. Love the lighting
This would be nice as a lo-fi background
Hyper realism pixel art???
would love to rest there omg
