Have you heard of Joe’s New Balance Outlet?

LukeATrillionaire

Nope, is it good? What models would you recommend please?

promiscuousparsley

That’s where they send older stock to sell as a discount. It’s a website. I’m planning to try new balance next but my favorite is Hoka Bondi. I’m not familiar with classy shoes other than Vionics

LukeATrillionaire

Thank you very much, I heard about Hoka but if you swear by them I would be very much tempted. Oh I just went to Joe’s, seems nice, I would give it a shot next time I’m in US (I’m from London, UK).

Hoka Bondi might be the most recommended shoe in this sub but some people prefer Hoka Clifton’s. Other popular brands are Birkenstocks and oofos and Vionics and the new balance cloud something is also popular. It was like at least $150 I think but I can’t remember what that exact product is called Sorry, using voice to text Another thing is I highly recommend arch support insoles. The kind that you have to stick in the oven and mold to your feet. My podiatrist said I should use them even with my Hoka Bondi‘s.

DoggyGrin

It's a legit site. Get on their email list as they have frequent sales and coupons.

LukeATrillionaire

Sadly I am in UK

For work I wear Naot. I’m lucky to have some specialty comfortable shoe stores near me, and of the brands the Orthopedic Association recommends, Naot felt the best. They’re a good balance of lightweight, supportive and cushioned. They have removable insoles you can upgrade if necessary (I did).

LukeATrillionaire

thank you, I will certainly check them out,

Hoka

LukeATrillionaire

Thanks, really have to check them out

My advice is not to walk so dam much. You need to strengthen and rest without causing flair ups. Shoes will not make a big difference. If you you exceed the load tolerance in your tendons and fascia is gonna hurt regardless

LukeATrillionaire

I think it is much better now, I was not walking at all before (sedentary lifestyle)

bbs07

Im not saying not to walk. Im saying you need to aboid being in pain. If you are in pain you did too much

LukeATrillionaire

Thanks a lot, sound advice and really appreciate it

I’ve been shoe shopping the last few weeks for a new job and NOTHING has felt as amazing as the On Cloudeclipse I ended up buying today (they were just released I think?). I never thought I’d want something that padded/cushioned but holy shit they felt incredible. They were an instant yes. The Cloudmonster felt pretty good too. I tried Hoka’s bc everyone raves about the Bondi but they were far too…supportive? for me. I can’t handle anything with a rigid arch support though. I did try alllll the Hoka models they had though and the Mach 5 was an almost-purchase for me. Other ones I really liked were the New Balance Fresh Foam X More v4, although I don’t love the look quite as much, and also the Altra Torin 7 (I love my Altra Lone Peak’s for trails). Unfortunately no input on shoes that are classier/dressier in style than running/athletic shoes but man I’ve been searching up and down for anything that I thought I might be able to spend a 12-hour shift in and I’m really hoping these Cloudeclipse are worth the price I paid. I also ordered Oofos slides for house shoes since the tiny size I need apparently doesn’t exist in local stores…but I did get to try on too-big ones at stores after seeing people write about them here and they felt pretty amazing. The Hoka recovery slides felt great too but again, need an online-only size so I’ll try the Oofos first and see how it goes. Best of luck!

LukeATrillionaire

Thank you very much, I will take it to consideration :)

Here are some brands that provide orthopedic dress shoes. I have some Propet boots that I really love. https://www.finncomfortusa.net/Products/products/1/ https://propetfootwear.com/mens/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI65_f7OSlggMVqBStBh3__QdMEAAYASADEgLo6PD_BwE&page=1

LukeATrillionaire

Thank you very much for that

Kuru quantum were the cure for me. I went through many types of shoes as a nurse on her feet all day and these are the best! Perfect blend of support and cushion with a wide toe box.

LukeATrillionaire

Thank you very much

kcw-

I love the HOKA Clifton 8’s

LukeATrillionaire

Thanks

Melodic-Switch-6535

I’m on my second pair of ASICS novablast 3’s and they are very comfy and cushy but still supportive.

LukeATrillionaire

Thanks a lot

This was my only style i tried in ASICS. Coming off a few pairs of hokas that I honestly think made my feet worse. The running store said these nova blasts were technically “racing shoes” so maybe that’s why they feel nice and light. Had some luck with New Balance in the past.
