NO… lash line incision was not recommended for me due to my propensity for dark and raised scarring. the modern procedure puts the incision under the lash line, inside the eyelid. look it up on google, or better yet youtube. it’s a visibly scarless method.
the incision was made on the other side, inside the eyelid maybe about a quarter inch under the lash line. sounds gross, but I didn’t have to “see” it and it was honestly painless. I was awake for procedure with a local anesthetic.

Did it hurt a lot inside your eyelid post op?
no pain, as I did take percocet for a couple days after. from day 3-4 on you can just take extra strength tylenol, which I personally did not need.
Do you know the exact name of this procedure/technique?
It's called transconjuntival lower blepharoplasty I had one a couple years ago and absolutely was the best thing I've ever done for myself.
