Wish there was a more reliable way to get stones/evo items. I’ve been waiting on that sun stone for 4 months now. Don’t know if I’m extremely unlucky or missing something lol.
Chandelure or thr upcoming Shadow Chandelure would be the best uses for a Unova Stone.
Since we have a Rocket event coming up, make sure to battle as many grunts and leaders as you can with their boosted spawn rates. Defeating Rocket Leaders is the main drop source of Unova Stones, so fighting them as often as you can really helps with farming Unova stones.
Chandelure is by far the best unova Stone Pokémon.
Depending on the moveset you give it, it can be a top fire OR Ghost type Raid attacker.
Edit:
For a ghost attacker, you want hex fast attack and Shadow Ball charged attack, and for a fire type Chandelure, you want fire spin fast attack, and overheat for a charged attack.
Wait, how did you get tons of the other stuff and never a unova stone? They are obtained in special research, 7 day field research streaks, on 7 day pokestop spins if you spin a golden gym, as reward after winning a few battles in battle league or when defeating a rocket leader. I keep getting them on a frequent basis that way.
Chandelure is the way to go, by the way. Or one of the Icelandic phones (simi* pokemon) if you want to fill the dex entries. It's up to you.
2016 account. Used it for a few months. Back this year. And have been playing for 281 straight days now. Even on vacations. So I’ve gotten 40 field research streaks so far this year. But first time I get that stone. Now that I got it. I don’t even wanna use it. Until I get the next one. lol
Omg fr I never get unova stones, just used my last on chandelure and I’m worried I’ll never see another again
I always have heaps of unova stones for some reason I really need a metal coat though

I seem to always get metal coat instead. Plenty of those, unova stone is super rare.

I wonder if it has to do with the path I chose back when the game started. How many sunstone you got?
I started September 1st 2022 so it’s not that. Maybe it’s because I have evolved a lot less mons than you. I have 1 sun stone.
