The machine that crimps packs/wrappers also cuts them (they’re fed into the machine in a long uncut chain). The Snorlax that sliver came from was so far out of line that the card got both a total crimp and a cut. It’s much, much rarer to find one of these than an ordinary crump.
Somewhere out there, I imagine, someone got the other 90% of the card in their ETB…
Definitely! I haven’t seen a packaging/cutting/crimp manufacturing error before. Definitely keep it sealed, to the right person you may get a lot more money and this it is more valuable:)
the machine is called a form fill seal (FFS) and it actually turns rolls of printed film into fin seal bags and stuffs the cards in as it cuts and seals the top/bottom of each bag.
OP, is the full size card crimped on the back?
if so, what happened was the card above slipped in front of this card, resulting in the bottom of the above card getting crimped and cut so it falls into OP's bag.
Well that's the problem it came unsealed because of the card being in the way so can't help that one I mean you can obvious see that the sealer tried to seal it cause the seal by the crimp is bent in one spot so I can't help that part but that's how I notice it and made it stand out....I was like this is weird why is it open then I saw it
Dude 😆lol toe? Really I know dirty finger aka my own in that picture but I mean I took the picture I know it ain't a toe lol so maybe you don't know what a toe looks like lol
I wouldn’t be surprised if this could sell in the $5.000-10,000+ range just because it’s in manufacturing packaging and highly unlikely to occur.
Would even consider getting it graded just for further authentication of it being real.
Well now that’s a bit much but I do agree it can hold some significant value to the right person, and probably will be worth the most in a few years when 151 isn’t readily or cheaply available
Well dm if you find someone to.... well who is interested in the card you find someone to pay that significant amount I will do a nice split that goes for anybody

So Is there even a value on something like this?

for sure less than full card with crimp since you can cut off part of it
If it's still sealed in the original packaging and that is able to be verified it would be more than, someone out there will pay good money for this.
Okay, you are 100% right
Plus it comes with a full card too so it's gotta be worth AT LEAST the full card

Hope you didnt unseal, probably worth a lot sealed

Your dirty fingernail looks like a dirty toenail 😅
And you must be talking from experience... just saying lol
Nah, I know what a toe is and I know what dirt looks like 😂
Dude 😆lol toe? Really I know dirty finger aka my own in that picture but I mean I took the picture I know it ain't a toe lol so maybe you don't know what a toe looks like lol
There’s a Snorlax card out there missing its bottom. It would be cool if it was found.
Looks like a crimp made by those finger nails
That’s pretty sick lol
…….so there is the bottom of my card!!!!
For some reason having hard time believing you lol
what!
If theyre both sealed, someone would give you bank. Just gonna take a while. Put a number and throw on ebay
I’m sorry but what’s your definition of “bank”
300 bucks
Lmao you think this would go for 300????
No. That dude is just spitting unsupported numbers
somebody will pay lmao
300? No
what if i will
Ok so do it otherwise don’t say if
i might
No you won’t lol keep living in that “what if” world

Exactly however this seems like a pretty rare find regardless since it ain’t something that normally happens
