It bugs me how fast it is in the overworld when its actual stats have it at only 70 speed. It gets outsped by Blastoise which just feels wrong.

personally i've always seen the speed stat more as reaction time rather than physical speed.

I’ve seen it as a combination of both physical speed and reaction time tbh. It makes a little bit more sense imo

In the overworld it uses fillet away before assaulting you (when doing the "aggression" animation) so the speed has a reason

I hate them mostly just bc of how laggy the game is once you try swimming across that lake so you can't even dodge them bc it pretty much freezes as soon as you're targeted.

I think all Pokemon designs are completely viable. Look out into the world and just think how many ugly, seemingly useless animals there are. I like to imagine looking out into the Pokémon world knowing its inhabitants as a whole were thoughtfully designed to make it feel real since there are ugly or useless creatures. Sometimes we as humans make odd connections with animals we thought we never would and there are trainers in the Pokémon world that pair up with a pokemon that you would think “I would never in a million years have that as my partner.” So I really think all Pokemon have a place in the Pokémon universe. With that said, I wish Swalot could permanently self-destruct.

Any pokemon I've had a bad experience battling. Greninja was a nightmare back in the days of pokemon brick bronze. Swampert was incredibly annoying in the pokemon go battle league.

I don’t have a Pokémon I hate so much, some designs I might not be a fan of, but otherwise if we’re going from the Open World Annoyance Perspective, I have quite a few. I cannot stand Arrokuda, Barraskewda, Veluza, Girafarig, Tauros and any other Pokémon that decides it wants to make a B-line for me and slow me down XD

Meganium. Look, I get a lot of people love it, and it's certainly not the worst design they've ever made, I actually do like it to an extent. But you gotta understand something: As a kid playing Gen 2 for the first time, I picked Chikorita because it was cute as hell. *Then* when I saw Bayleef for the first time I ***knew*** I made the right choice because this cute little guy became SO cool with its leaf blade and neck grenades. And then...... Meganium just **didn't** live up to Bayleef, and my disappointment was immeasurable. We traded the leaf blade for some antennas, and the buds on the neck just didn't translate to the flower in little kid me's mind. Not to mention, besides those, there's really not much going on there. I don't think Meganium is a bad design, but it fell extremely short of my expectations as a kid, and I have never forgotten. Also doesn't help that competitive couldn't even save it for me, because it's pretty bad there too.

Hear me out bro what if they kept going with the bayleef design and had 3 Bayleefs growing one on his head and two out the sides of his leaf collar and they reduced his speed down about 20 points and give him 10 points on defense and special defense with Fairy typing and maybe an ability that once hit with a physical, drop leech seeds on players side of the field. Losing the pink flower and gaining two huge bayleefs that extend out sideways would make it monstrous maybe even something close to what you imagined as a kid!
