I won’t pretend that the left shits gold in everything we espouse, but politicizing sex and gender is a very old tactic that has just taken a new life form, birthed by the left to gain a semblance of autonomy for disadvantaged groups and twisted by liberals. These tactics have always existed and used by every ideology.
The principle is everyone has a right to live as they please as long as it does not harm others. If you care that much about gender identity or orientation, it’s a you problem. Just like if I care too much about your carbon footprint, that’s a me problem.
