Presidential immunity at the federal level would only apply to things done as and while president, and there is likely no mechanism to appeal this ruling under federal law at a local court, especially when the court that would have to take this case for jurisdictional reasons would be the southern district of New York, and that court simply would not take the case up.
They literally can just refuse to hear it. And that's not something that can be appealed.
