That looks great. I have upgraded the brake lines and front discs on my Cayman (also a base) but I do worry about the heat generated. How difficult is the brake duct upgrade?
Mine sits on lowered springs but going round Donington earlier this week was making me strongly consider stiffer anti-roll bars and maybe swapping in a new set of KW coilovers, as the body roll was a little more than I wanted.
Congrats. Looks like it worked out well for you as well. Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the CR + koni.
I think my next mod is some forged wheels in lieu of any power adders on my base. If I can drop 5lbs per corner, a little more total grip .. 10lbs of rotating mass off the rear, and then ditch the dual mass flywheel later on this car will get livelier.
Thanks. If you’re in the UK spyder performance do a suspension refresh kit for a good price. It includes everything except roll bars. Mine had 75k miles on original parts and it was quite a big job as all the bolts are steel and parts are aluminium so they need to be drilled out carefully. It’s a game changer once you set the dampers at your preferred setting and get a good alignment. I went max camber front and back, zero toe at front and +1 toe on rear.
So far so good, my Indy recommended them said they’re alright. Remind me in a week or two once I’ve had some more time and I’ll give you some better feedback though

Super easy, cliffs garage has a good YouTube tutorial, the parts are dirt cheap too!
Thanks!

Very nice...I've got my springs and need to gather the rest of the parts for the refresh. 110000 miles on the originial suspension...it is ready!!

I've wondered about the Spyder performance quality. Are you happy with them? It is a great deal!
