First of all. I've never seen anybody play portal on a switch. Second of all, there is a scripted sequence using triggers that you walk in and somehow you managed to bypass the scripted sequences. That entire test chamber with the exit is supposed to break and reveal an open exit
Yes, the switch is capable of playing old games. On this level the scripted bits simply don't play. I've seen a bunch of videos of it happening to others (below). Some folks thought you had to break the monitor quickly to make it happen but it's not necessary. Some kind of race condition without defensive coding.
The worst thing you can do in a puzzle game is present a puzzle that can't be solved. This is it.

Turns out when you start a NEW GAME, you can choose to start at any chapter you've already encountered, so I was able to restart at chapter 8. This cost me 30 minutes instead of several hours. Better than nothing.

Yeah it’s on the Switch. Both games were released on Switch in a package called the Companion Collection
That makes sense, I know a lot about portal because I make community maps for it.
Interesting... I've only heard of the orange box for portal. Also.. that's a cool name for a collection

Has anyone gotten this glitch on an actual computer?
