I like them. But I I completely understand - I hate pretty much everything I paint and am really trying to balance how much I enjoy doing it with how much embarrassed I am with my results. You're in a way better spot, just keep it going. It's good stuff, and worth doing.

xseanbeanx

Keep creating them! The ones where you stuck to a monochromatic theme look good, but seems like you’re moving the paint too much? Try keeping it simple and maybe try the blowdryer method to mix it up every now and then to give yourself a mental break. Keep creating though!

Spiffinit

Psychedelic! Keep practicing, you’ll get it. Also, know when to stop. That’s my biggest issue.

Captainbabygirl767

I actually really like 4,5,9 a lot.

Etalon_de_Silomar

3 is close to greatness.

rotterdameliza

That it absolutely is not garbage. I can empathize with your struggle. Send me a chat if you need to vent. X

Any_Coyote6662

The first one is really cool. The other ones are OK. The colors and shapes in the first one ignite my imagination. I see stories in it.

Slow_Possession_1454

Every time I’ve thought one of mine was awful somebody loved it and bought it.

Madlyn_Jensen

Just out of curiosity are you painting in a cold area? I noticed I have a much more difficult time controlling the paint ever since I moved my painting area to the garage where my paints are always cold. It’s been a lot more of a struggle to produce anything that seems appealing to me. Everyone else seems to like them but it’s not at all the same as when I had my paints in a temperature controlled environment.

LankyViolinist3465

Quite the opposite I'm in Florida south Florida it's a different kind of hot out here and I do paint poor at the beach I don't know this any difference because it's always fucking hot. 😂

RadishWinter3114

6, 7, and 10 are my favorite. I wouldn't say the rest are garbage though.

[deleted]

You call all that "garbage"? They are really good!!

dcromb

They may not be what you wanted or expected, but they're still good. Have you tried painting something on them and using them as background? Or stick with fewer colors that you love? Perhaps using a few different techniques from YouTube? It's still a good technique with pouring, you just don't seem to like the results. Keep painting.

ImTimsWife

4, 8, 9, and 10 are my favorites. Keep pouring the paint!

adabaraba

Very interesting color combos (I don’t mean it in a disparaging way). I could see them hanging in a hipster coffee shop or something Edit: fixed typo

Autocannibal-Horse

SEVERAL of these are very beautiful and not garbage at all.

greedygirl7050

It’s great!

8675309Jessie

I really like 6. It has more freeway space. It looks like in space

Repulsive-Pop9900

Not garbage. It’s not as easy as some people think. Just like anything else you want to become good at, you have to practice, practice, practice. Then practice some more! I have been at this for over two years (w/some long breaks) and I pretty much dislike everything I do! We are our own worst critics…don’t give up!!

snuggle-butt

I actually really like them, the first one especially. I like high contrast.

Sudden-Banana-5234

lol you sound like an artist. They’re great keep creating!

queenofthepalmtrees

I really like 5 6 and 10.

Dapadabada

The rest are dope and #4 should be an album cover

TheRedTrane141

This is what LSD looks like 😂

LankyViolinist3465

Yes 👍🏻

BusyButterscotch4652

I really like 5, 6, 9, and 10! I think you are being too critical of yourself

ChellyD3

Not garbage at all! I love the different color choices for each one.

Delicious_Toe9769

By no means are they garbage. They look amazing. My artwork yesterday was absolute garbage and I wasn’t about to post it. I tried swiping again and used something different to swipe with and on both paintings it looked like absolutely garbage. 🫶🖼️👍

Chance_Contract1291

Number 3 is gorgeous - looks like agate.

Horror-Pirate-8612

I am a beginner at this but I started with less color choices at first and played with techniques. Sometimes too many colors and too much paint movement gets 'muddy'. Keep creating - you will get where you want to be...
