Your comment doesn't make sense as a reply to mine. I'm specifically stating that someone dodging is being less of an ass than they would be if they threw the game by playing it, either by deliberately trolling or by being so utterly terrible in their role.
That wastes 30+ mins of my time and guarantees me a loss and annoys me. Someone dodging a queue wastes maybe 2 mins of my time, but it doesn't really, because you can be queued while doing other things.
Ok, than you'll get a ban every once in a while for dodging. Would you rather they didn't have a penalty so that person could dodge every lobby every time until they got what they wanted?

Idk OP is complaining about being banned for first dodge, which is normally a 30 second ban. They are also saying the ban is deserved. Don't think anyone here is arguing against a ban being justified. Just stating my personal preference, that I'd rather someone dodged than threw.
He followed up by saying that there should be a five minute max. So, please explain how the "Totally justified, yeah, of course" was serious and not sarcastic.

Lol 7 min is baby numbers had a q pop after 25 mins this weekend in NAE, though q is probably quite a bit quicker in newer lobbies.
Much rather have someone dodge than be awful in the role/throw the game deliberately because they don't get their role.

Nah I'm happy for the small escalating ban, although I'd rather it was capped at the length of the average game.

That doesn't mean the first person to queue in that lobby wasn't waiting for much longer.
