There’s this picture of JFK. Pretty sure it was a split second after the 3rd shot hit him
https://preview.redd.it/t1no7mg4uksc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45cb272af12309d4e77d20924bd73baa87c9cc1c
Those autopsy images are of JD Tippit actually and taken on Air Force 2 as they tried to swap the bodies to hide the real body showing multiple shooters. He was a lookalike to JFK. Thats why they shot him and blamed it on Oswald.
There’s an immense amount of evidence about the Kennedy assassination which has been analyzed as nauseam. I recommend you read an actual book on it; Bugliosi’s book is the best single-volume.
Both Reagans were regularly touched up by Clairol products. Nancy allowed this information to be released to the public in exchange for free products delivered to the White House salon. I assume she continued the couples’ grooming practices in private life, as their hair colors remained consistent until the end for both.
I mean one is instant, you’re gone. The other you spiral down the drain for years grasping for any semblance of sanity, with glimpses and whispers of your former self peeking through giving false hope but everyone knows it’s only temporarily, even if they’re happy to have those rare moments. Give me the option of a quick death or a long regression to near infant levels and I’d probably take that bullet.
Harding was on a speaking tour called the Voyage of Understanding when he died. The route crossed the country, then went up to Alaska before working its way down the west coast.
It looks like that photo is from one of the final speeches. The stress of the tour combined with his health problems and he got sick. Ultimately, he had what was most likely a cardiac arrest and died in San Francisco.
The Teapot Dome scandal broke after his death and permanently destroyed his reputation.
He was also insanely popular before Teapot Dome broke. Given how minor that scandal was in the grand scheme of things, he’s definitely the most underrated president.
Wow, I’ve never seen photographs of JQA or AJ. I didn’t know they existed; never thought to search. So cool to see how accurate the presidential portraits were!
https://preview.redd.it/l7ltj45salsc1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2970c963af2b486f15fe138e633e873ce6eb9bb0
He always kinda looked like a monkey
The family likely has more pictures that have never been released publicly.
Victims of Alzheimer’s tend to deteriorate substantially both physically and mentally, so to say Reagan didn’t look great in his final years is likely a *serious* understatement.
Horrible way to go out. RIP.
According to his family, Reagan was bedridden in hospice care at his mansion for the last 3 years of his life (from March 2001 after the hip replacement surgery until his death of pneumonia in June 2004).
I mean I disagree with the guy on a lot of political issues, but no one deserves to go out that way. Coming from someone whose had family members pass from a similar disease.
Pic was taken while he was working on his autobiography. He was dead broke, and knew if he was to leave anything to settle his debts, it was that book.
It wasn't the last pic of him though. [https://www.loc.gov/resource/ppmsca.58231/](https://www.loc.gov/resource/ppmsca.58231/)
The quote is from Vice President Thomas Marshall. I personally think if Roosevelt had not gone on his 1913 Amazon expedition and Quentin had not been killed in the war, we would have seen him live andother 10-20 years. He was in better health than most people today at 55 after the 1912 campaign.
12 years of steering the US through 2 of the longest and most dire crises of the 20th century would have had aged even the most robust man by several decades.
The only one incorrect one here is JQA (he had loads of photos taken after this one), the real last photo is a much more close up photograph taken around I believe 1846/47.
If you look at a picture of FDR when he became President in 1932 and compared it to this one, there’s a stunning difference. Fighting the Depression and then navigating the country through WWII destroyed him.
If you compared a photo of King George VI from 1936 with one taken in 1952, when he died, it perfectly explains The Queen Mother’s white-hot hatred of Wallis Simpson and the former King Edward VIII.
I am genuinely surprised to see how many of them are content. Having that much pressure on my shoulders my whole career I would probably be driving myself nuts in my last days thinking of everything I should've done differently. No matter what side of the spectrum you're on you can see the humanity in most their eyes. Great post.
LBJ letting himself go immediately after leaving the Presidency has always fascinated me.
Apparently he hadn't had a cigarette in 14 years and he lit up on the day of Nixon's inauguration.
https://preview.redd.it/c2vnzlpnmrsc1.jpeg?width=240&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc56efdf74c421ed656cc6184640909c7fe8db7f
This is believed to be the last known photo of Harry Truman, being discharged from a Kansas City hospital, July 17, 1972.
the kennedys overshadowed him, even in death. he went up against two younger, smarter, better educated, better spoken, more attractive, more moral, (i could go on for eternity) men that belittled and ridiculed him, despite how politically knowledgeable he was and how much influence he had. he was one of the most effective senate majority leaders in US history and clearly used it to get legislation passed that jack kennedy could not but they barely listened to him. johnson had worked his whole life for the job of president, he was a massive boot licker and the biggest suck up youd ever meet, genuinely the worlds best social climber for how much he'd grovel at those with power, something which he desperately wanted and loved abusing when he got it against those who he didnt like. in stark contrast to bobby, who resigned from his senate post cause he wasnt happy with it ideologically and who hated bullying and bootlicking or those that did it. the kennedys had things johnson deep down had always craved, such as their dignity, and they were beloved while he was reviled and accused of killing them for the rest of his life. johnson felt like a failure not only as a president, but as a person by the end. despite that, he probably was one of the most accomplished presidents legislatively and was largely just stained by vietnam (which he made a hell of a lot of money off of). johnson mustve realised the money and power wasnt worth losing his soul for after the kennedys and just wanted to be dead like them at that point. tl;dr: johnson felt like a disgrace compared to the kennedys by the end.

William Taft https://preview.redd.it/9e91k3dp2lsc1.jpeg?width=1038&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9996b2afbe1f52dd4388a77349d7ca9ca9b738c
He looks so pleasant
He was extremely content this late, presidency and supreme Court chief
Clearly lost a lot of weight
he was on a daily exercise routine for 20 years
he loved the position, funnily enough harding promised it to multiple people and a scandal occured
Ngl I bet the guy in the white coat could tell some great stories.
Ok am I losing it or does he look absolutely enormous in that?
He looks like Kris Kringle from Miracle on 34th St
There’s this picture of JFK. Pretty sure it was a split second after the 3rd shot hit him https://preview.redd.it/t1no7mg4uksc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=45cb272af12309d4e77d20924bd73baa87c9cc1c
Also there are autopsy photos of JFK. But if you mean last pictures of them *alive* then nevermind
Just looked up the photos of that. His face in them is the deadest thing I’ve seen in my life.
[удалено]
This face just feels feels incredibly goofy to me somehow, it gives me that Willem Dafoe looking up meme vibes
Well JFK didn’t immediately die so that may be the last photos taken while he was alive
alright I did not expect to see corpses/gore on this sub but here I am.
Those autopsy images are of JD Tippit actually and taken on Air Force 2 as they tried to swap the bodies to hide the real body showing multiple shooters. He was a lookalike to JFK. Thats why they shot him and blamed it on Oswald.
Uh huh, yeah
Discontinue the lithium
DisontinueD the Lithium already. And actually should be on olanzapine
“I already flushed it”
JFK, whateva happened there
It’s all here https://youtu.be/4oVpt_I9iQQ?si=n8_sf5AjUxYyXYMS
“Video a guy posted on YouTube” is not a reliable source of information
Neither is anything the government says
Untrue
If you don’t have evidence then you never looked
There’s an immense amount of evidence about the Kennedy assassination which has been analyzed as nauseam. I recommend you read an actual book on it; Bugliosi’s book is the best single-volume.
and much of YouTube videos is fiction
Don't worry guys, some fuck on YouTube has it all figured out
It was probably a team of fucks
Also if we wanted to be really technical, we could count the exact frame of the Zapruder film
Frame 312. Next frame is the headshot
Technically speaking, wouldn't that still be valid since he died in the hospital rather than in the car?
Am I the only one who thinks that LBJ looks like Bill Murray in that picture
Half Bill Murray, Half Robert DeNiro
Was thinking more Bernie Madoff
Yes! And JQA is very Bilbo Baggins in that one to me.
I thought he was James Garner for a second
Grant looking very Hemingway in that photo
Zach Galifanakis too
Honestly, the one with Reagan and Nancy makes me sad. Alzheimer is a sad way to go, must have been so hard on Nancy.
It’s a really sweet picture. It’s also pretty impressive how much color his hair had into his golden years.
Them movie star genes man
Both Reagans were regularly touched up by Clairol products. Nancy allowed this information to be released to the public in exchange for free products delivered to the White House salon. I assume she continued the couples’ grooming practices in private life, as their hair colors remained consistent until the end for both.
My grandmother had Alzheimer’s. Truly, it’s something I would wish upon nobody and their family.
Yeah, getting your head blown off at age 46 is way better /s
I mean one is instant, you’re gone. The other you spiral down the drain for years grasping for any semblance of sanity, with glimpses and whispers of your former self peeking through giving false hope but everyone knows it’s only temporarily, even if they’re happy to have those rare moments. I’d rather get Alzheimer’s in my 80s than get shot at 46 and traumatize the entire world and the love of my life.
This is a very weird hill to die on
would you rather live til 93 or get shot at 46?? cmon now
Fdr was handsome when he was older. He was ugly when he was young sorry.
https://preview.redd.it/9sx46bq4nlsc1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e44cba3f804b4392af06079589c7746316ee4331 His son was hot tho
Definitely smash
I love the internet
The heterosexuality leaving my body when viewing a photo of FDR's son:
Would!!!!
What the hell is that Harding pic?
Hard as hell, taking one last look out upon the horizon
On my birthday nonetheless
Harding was on a speaking tour called the Voyage of Understanding when he died. The route crossed the country, then went up to Alaska before working its way down the west coast. I knew about the tour but thx for telling me where he is and what he’s doing.
He was also insanely popular before Teapot Dome broke. Given how minor that scandal was in the grand scheme of things, he’s definitely the most underrated president.
Had to look at LBJ again.. thought he let that hair loose.
He looks like they caught him at bowling league lmao
Warren B. Harding? Was that Warren G's cousin or something?
Regulators…Mount up!
Nah, it’s Snoop D O Double G
That's the reply I was looking for!
Wow, I’ve never seen photographs of JQA or AJ. I didn’t know they existed; never thought to search. So cool to see how accurate the presidential portraits were!
Jackson supposedly didn’t like the picture of him, saying it made him look like a monkey
https://preview.redd.it/l7ltj45salsc1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2970c963af2b486f15fe138e633e873ce6eb9bb0 He always kinda looked like a monkey
You know the difference between a well dressed monkey on a bicycle and a poorly dressed monkey on a tricycle? One tire
There wasn’t a photo released of Reagan for the last 4 years of his life?
The family likely has more pictures that have never been released publicly. Victims of Alzheimer’s tend to deteriorate substantially both physically and mentally, so to say Reagan didn’t look great in his final years is likely a *serious* understatement. Horrible way to go out. RIP.
honestly I hope some do come out. if only for the historical aspect.
Does it matter for historical aspect?
Not entirely. but it would be a powerful image

Reddit moment
‘Reddit moment’ for not crying a river for the man responsible for thousands of deaths on innocence,as well as negatively effecting millions of lives.
I get it, but it’s not a disease anyone or their family deserves.
Didn’t say that,I said if anyone deserves it it’s him but I agree and don’t think that his family should suffer
LBJ Looks like hector from BREAKING BAD 😭
🛎️
Grant looks almost modern
Pic was taken while he was working on his autobiography. He was dead broke, and knew if he was to leave anything to settle his debts, it was that book. It wasn't the last pic of him though. [https://www.loc.gov/resource/ppmsca.58231/](https://www.loc.gov/resource/ppmsca.58231/)
Looking much more General-y in that picture
Teddy still looks like he could kick your ass even when he was mere days from death.
"They say Death had to take him in his sleep, otherwise there would have been a fight."
I always thought there was perhaps a bit of embellishment in that quote, but looking at that photo, I can well believe it.
The quote is from Vice President Thomas Marshall. I personally think if Roosevelt had not gone on his 1913 Amazon expedition and Quentin had not been killed in the war, we would have seen him live andother 10-20 years. He was in better health than most people today at 55 after the 1912 campaign.
I wish he had lived to see WWII, if only to provide support for his cousin.
LBJ looks like a 70's porn director.
Jumbo Productions
He only did tasteful scenes.
FDR looks like he's ready for another election cycle
Honestly the dude looks so damn *tired*
12 years of steering the US through 2 of the longest and most dire crises of the 20th century would have had aged even the most robust man by several decades.
Love FDR but god does he look ghastly in his last days.
The only one incorrect one here is JQA (he had loads of photos taken after this one), the real last photo is a much more close up photograph taken around I believe 1846/47.
The worst president: https://preview.redd.it/ut2wmvxv9msc1.jpeg?width=180&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8790acebc5ee8d5e569673ccff9823be5822341a
Who’s that? Is that Davis?
The one and only.
Made-up presidents don’t belong in the sub :-)
Then why are there so many posts about Fillmore
He was at least president of a country that existed longer than “The Masked Singer”
Wait, Millard Fillmore was on The Masked Singer?! What season?
The current one (sssshhh don’t reveal it)
😮
If someone ran with JQAs sideburns I’d vote for them. I’d ignore everything else, none of it matters past the sideburns.
A man of refined taste, I see!

This has been posted so many times and I still think Johnson’s pic is the best. He just said fuck it and did whatever he wanted. He rules 🎸
Well, you have Grant wrong. [https://www.loc.gov/resource/ppmsca.58231/](https://www.loc.gov/resource/ppmsca.58231/)
LBJ had a final interview with Cronkite mere 10 days before he passed away.
Last photos *alive* Pretty sure there’s photos of JFK during autopsy
Andrew Jackson wearing three pairs of glasses simultaneously
It’s kinda insane to me that JQA lived long enough to be phorographed
LBJ looks like young hector salamanca
I am genuinely surprised to see how many of them are content. Having that much pressure on my shoulders my whole career I would probably be driving myself nuts in my last days thinking of everything I should've done differently. No matter what side of the spectrum you're on you can see the humanity in most their eyes. Great post.
What’s most interesting to me is that no photos were taken of LBJ the last four months of his life. Shows how low key he was after the presidency.
You can definitely tell that something was brewing with FDR, he just looks so tired.
LBJ letting himself go immediately after leaving the Presidency has always fascinated me. Apparently he hadn't had a cigarette in 14 years and he lit up on the day of Nixon's inauguration.
Most look so tired and frail. Expect Theodore Roosevelt: he still looks ready and eager to kick someone’s ass
Had no idea there was a photograph of John Quincy Adams. Hard to remember how young our country is.
FDR had kind of a Lincoln look about him in his last photo.
LBJ looks like he finally decided to see what's so great about having long hair and dropping acid
I thought it was Robert DiNero for a minute
The JQA pic is fierce, his expression is so… I’m not taking any shit.
LBJ pretty camera shy
https://preview.redd.it/c2vnzlpnmrsc1.jpeg?width=240&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dc56efdf74c421ed656cc6184640909c7fe8db7f This is believed to be the last known photo of Harry Truman, being discharged from a Kansas City hospital, July 17, 1972.
I bet you’re fun at parties. But in all seriousness, very interesting and morbid.
Come to think of it I’ve never been invited to a party
That’s not the last photo of Kennedy
Yes, but I’m not gonna post pictures of a dead guy
Read the caption
i thought harding was wilson
it is said johnson wanted to kill himself with cigs feeling like a failure, he looks so depressed and hes given up

What about Nixon? I think the last taken of him might have been at Pat’s funeral?
