well this was back in the years of 2010 to 2014 but yes multiple geographicly seporated schools shared the same network because of the parental control firewall stuff they setup, and you could access those other computers if you knew the right broadcast addresses.

I still remember that function. I don't know when it got removed ( or hidden) but I'm glad people don't easily have access to it anymore.
