Imo they were too technical about it... Usually Vampire covers are more mischievous and flirty (intent of the lyrics), but I guess the singers were directed to be more controlled. Examples just from the opening would be every high note, where they hold the notes instead of "shouting" it, and the "zettai ikeru yo" which was done in legato + airi holding the last note in pitch (no vibrato or anything)
This is exactly why the cover was a little disappointing for me. I think that Vampire covers sound the best when the singer brings energy and hits notes hard to emphasize certain lyrics. MMJ's cover feels soft to me. It's technically well done, but it doesn't match the tone that the song needs imo.

I didnt personally like the song itself. It has a sorta cheesy tone that I cant get used to and drags out for way too long for my personal tastes. Full comboing it is a nightmare
I heard the [Teddyloid remix](https://youtu.be/M_24AlRm1cs) of the song first and that completely sabotaged any chance I had of liking the original instrumentation. So some of the dislike could just be people not liking the original compared to the remix version.
I like the song, but I have to admit, I kinda dislike the chart (expert), not because it is too difficult, just because some parts/notes feel so unintuitive to me.

I never heard vampire before it was added to sekai, so I has no expectations. Honestly, it just sucks. The voices just *does not* fit. It’s hard to explain, it’s a bit like how the chart to venom simply isn’t good. I think that ariri mainly doesn’t fit. Their voices are just too high and soft. But that’s just my 2 cents
That song is barely sexual, even the mv isn’t really sexual. Compare Miracle Paint to Vampire and Ifu. The latter two are entirely sexual while Miracle Paint just might have a mention alluding to sexual themes. Definitely a difference between song about sex vs some mentions of sex. What I meant regardless in my original comment is that Niigo and WxS shouldn’t sing pop sexual songs like Rabbit Hole because 1. It’s not their genre 2. Emu singing Rabbit Hole instead of say MMJ would be incredibly cringey

I love MMJ’s Vampire. In fact, I don’t think I’ve heard a Sekai version that made me go “…uh, what?” so far.

The high notes are too squeaky and grating. It doesn’t feel like the miku version ever goes *that* high.
