Drugs are required for addictions. If the drugs didn’t exist, they wouldn’t be desperate. The medical definition of addiction requires continuing to use despite the negative consequences of the use or the drug seeking.
You can have unlimited access to a drug, never having to seek it out, and still destroy your life.

Exactly. Many of the posters from this campaign are brutal and real honesty about a person's future with meth and meth users. Some are about sexual exploration and trafficking. Some might be a little confusing. None are "Meth makes you do incest." Going over the top like that takes away from the tough bleak reality they are showing. They don't need hyperbole.
They could've said something like "she wanted to be a teacher, now she's a prostitute" or something like that to emphasis howaddictions can rob you of your dreams. The angle they chose and the way they phrased it is messed up
