Using latest stock. Never experienced any issues, performance is just better then cfws and it looks just fine. Never understand the hate for it anyway.
I'm probably going to use latest stock but for me it's just hard to go from the attractive visuals of ArkOS and Garlic to stock. Just doesn't have the same feel.
Stock or modded stock will do everything you want without you needing to fiddle with anything. I'd recommend MOD4 simply because it has FTP which makes transferring roms much easier. Simple to set up and stable.
People will recommend Batocera and MuOS just do it it seems. Those are enthusiast options. Nothing you want to do would require them, it would take much more effort on your part, they have issues and you'd be a beta tester.
Not OP but I’m using batocera and love it. Battery drain sucks and I have no way of switching the share file to ext4 because I’m on Mac so I suppose I just have to deal. Despite that batocera is amazing and really brings all your games to life.
If someone didn't already own a RG35xx H, I wouldn't recommend them MinUi.
With the shortcomings MinUI has, a Miyoo Mini with OnionOS is better and plays the same consoles.
Of course if someone already owns a RG35xx H then recommending a different device all together doesn't seem as meaningful

This would be my vote! Currently playing Pokémon Unbound and works great!
Best pokémon game. Just finished playing it.

Currently using most updated stock OS. Works great for me!
Stock OS. Easy and functional
Muos v11 should be release soonish. From what I here it's gonna be amazing.

I’m using stock since I am lazy and it works
Batocera all the way. Format the share partition to ext4 after starting it for the first time, then transfer ROMs.

How long is a cold boot, and can it boot to the last game you were playing like OnionOS?
MinUi is so elegant, fast and simple to use. Your not going to use it for PSP or N64 but for the rest it is awesome.

Ok you have a point, I have a mm+ that I have MinUi on already so the natural choice for me is to have the same on my rg35xxH
V40 batocera for me doesn't have battery drain or slow load time anymore. I love the aesthetic of it personally.
Any tips to utilizing and installing batocera and loading it ?
where do you download and follow installation process?
