Le Fil was fantastic and caught my eye right from the promo. I loved his energy in the girl groups, thought he and Sminty should have won the design challenge without question, he could have won the rusical and I don't want to spoil anything for you but I didn't agree when he was sent home either. The judges just did not care for Le Fil and it seemed like there was nothing he could do to change that.
The judges were wild for UK4. I ran polls for this season so if you check my post history, you can see what the subreddit thought at the time! We had Le Fil in top 3 for runway and performance.
Le Fil was unfortunately a filler queen. and she was stun and definitely had potential, but production wanted Jonbers, Peppa, Danny and Cheddar to be complete front runners.
She certainly could have went home instead of Copper Topp or instead of the double save but she was one of Ru's favorites to shoot the shit with a la Scarlett Harlett.
Now I found Jonbers to be very likeable but I don't get dragging her to the finale over Le Fil or Dakota who were actually doing well in the challenges. Very strange. Same with Peppa.
I will never understand how Peppa made it that far tbh. (Well, I do.) Production wanted her to win but her bad track record would make her crowing pretty questionable. So they knocked her off at the last post.
Peppa was pegged as a front runner after that first win, but unfortunately their track record fumbled after that so production clearly had to scramble when it was clear she wasn’t keeping an upwards momentum
We’ve had 3 straight seasons of “Black queen lip sync assassins her way to the top 4”. I think the girls are cast to kinda fall into that slot, since they often aren’t surrounded by strong lip syncers who can take them out.
Peppa’s lip syncs werent the best, but there weren’t a ton of options for people who could send her home to an upbeat song, especially after Baby quit.
I am 99% sure baby was supposed to be there instead of Peppa considering they gave her a win early as well and didn’t seem to care for Dakota at all. When she left production pivoted to Peppa
I do want to say that the 11th hour act wins a lot or places high in the drag race lexicon.
Silky as Oprah in Trump the Rusical
Denali and Gottmik as The Russian Bots in Social Media the Rusical
Bendelacreme as Julie Andrews in Divas Live
Etc. I've lost track.
But I do belive there's a always a 11th hour number in a musical.
I think Le Fil was totally robbed in the design challenge (I don't even think Dakota and Baby were close to be honest) but I've got to disagree that she could have won the Rusical. She did a good job with a hard part, but she's not much of an actor and I think you could really tell. Still it's bullshit she was anywhere near the bottom
Just a reminder to everyone, Le Fil uses he/him pronouns in drag. But yeah, the judging on UK4 is WILD! Talking about the second half here >!it was just Cheddar and Danny trading wins. I did feel though that by the end it was one of the few seasos where I would be okay with a double crowning.!<
Although both my mum and I thought Danny deserved the win (that runway was beyond anything we've seen) we thought Le Fil was also high, tho so many people did amazing...but Low?!
Le Fil did way better than production would let her believe...
Uhg that’s exactly how I felt watching the season, Le Fil and Dakota were some of my favourites and it really annoyed me that they weren’t given their flowers when they deserved them. At least Dakota got some praise but the judges seemed to overlook Le Fil most of the time….. such a shame though, I really enjoyed watching them and would love to see them again on All Stars if they wish to compete again
Le Fil was utterly perfect
It reminds me of when I was in piano competitions. Asian girls would be perfect then told they do not have "heart" or nebulous non critiques over me (white male)
They had their elimination order ready from the casting and were following it regardless of the contestants performance, this season had some pretty infuriating results.

I don't think production intended for JB to be a front runner given she never won a challenge or even came close. But Ru did really enjoy her.

It was crystal clear from the start that only Danny or Cheddar could win. I'd rather say they didn't want an all white finale.
Peppa was pegged as a front runner after that first win, but unfortunately their track record fumbled after that so production clearly had to scramble when it was clear she wasn’t keeping an upwards momentum

That’s fair! And Danny did incredible that week. It’s just sick to me because like at least put her high if you don’t want her to have a win.
trust and BELIEVE everyone was pissed about how Fil was treated. so unfair but we all love her

Shea as Blac Chyna

Thank you I was like so confused.
She was done dirty. I loved her!
That he was. Can’t wait to see him on a future season! (Manifesting it)

Le Fil actually uses he/they pronouns in drag!

She was cast as filler and then put in the least flashy role. It was inevitable.
They had their elimination order ready from the casting and were following it regardless of the contestants performance, this season had some pretty infuriating results.
Yes
Rigga morris girl
Le fil was fab but just didn’t fit the narrative
YOU AIN'T! And you are CORRECKT.
