Although I don’t have any info on the model, I’m not so sure it would be a good project considering the condition, especially if it has been sitting on that ground for a while. The whole underside could be bad and rusted, lines busted, etc. to say the least. Just my opinion though!
I can tell you it's not a VW. Looks like a gas front engine Class A motorhome from about 1995, wood framed construction and medium duty built. It's a cool paint job, it looks about ready to go to the dump though.
I did a quick search and didn't find anything on a VW Class A motor coach. So it's either very rare in the U.S. or someone just stuck a VW emblem on the front of another model. Maybe someone imported it and they are more common in Europe. Either way, it doesn't bode well for finding parts. If you are super intrigued I'd get a closer look and check the door stickers for more info. Then contact VW. Also, there are VW groups on the web that love projects and they might be able to track down some info.
I can't believe there are comments saying it looks good cosmetically. While there is no apparent major damage, I would bet that any rubber/vinyl piece on this thing probably is dry rotted..from the roof down to the tires.
Not a clue personally but it looks like it’s in fairly decent condition cosmetically speaking…I would check on parts availability for mechanical first though. There may be a reason it’s not been moving…
I mention the parts availability because part of my job is to manage a small fleet of older commercial vehicles & that’s an increasingly larger hurdle I am running into each year.

Looks like a 1990's Bounder. They're an entry-level brand, still made today I think.

That’s a 1991 breaking bad - methlaber. Very popular in the deserts around Albuquerque New Mexico.
POS I think - circa 1995
