Well outside of team RWBY, I could see Jaune liking Black Clover because he could relate to Asta and Fuegoleon’s quote about how there’s no shame in being weak but there is shame is staying weak would really stick with him.
His favorite character would probably be either Asta or Fuegoleon for the reasons I explained above. Plus in Asta’s case, I could see Jaune thinking that Asta’s swords are cool.
That actually gives me a hilarious idea. So team RWBY are big fans of the big 3 and Dragon Ball, in these headcanons at least, so what if team JNPR are big fans of New Gen, that would be funny. But now the question is...which ones? Jaune and Black Clover makes sense, Jaune would probably relate to Asta a lot due to being powerless and weak at the start, but through hard training, and lots of trauma, they have become true power houses...well current Jaune, Beacon Arc Jaune still hasn't really reached the others level yet...but now what would Pyrrha, Nora, and Ren be fans of?

Maybe Nora could like Chainsaw Man just for its name and seeing Denji going crazy and killing Devils. Her favorite character would probably be Power because she once used a hammer and she has a fun personality that Nora could like.
Ren could be into Demon Slayer for its darker theme and maybe could he relate to Tanjiro and Tomioka. They would probably be his favorite characters.
Pyrrha is probably the most difficult one and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she wasn’t into anime/manga because she just didn’t have time to get into it. Maybe she could get into MHA with Deku reminded her so much of Jaune. Her favorite character would probably be Yaoyorozu because while she’s very rich, she’s very humble and tries to help others to improve.
Yo, these are good. I was at first leaning into JJK for Ren, just on vibes alone, but Demon Slayer works too. Chainsaw man for Nora is just perfect though, the craziness just absolutely fits her. MHA was what I landed on for Pyrrha too, because of vibes mostly, it just seems like something she would enjoy, though Yaomomo wasn't actually at the top of my head for her favorite, though she is better than my pick of All Might, I don't think that he would be her favorite at first, but after his insecurities and fears are revealed i thought she would relate to him a lot, but yeah Yaomomo fits Pyrrha better, All Might can be the second favorite.
Thinking about it now, JJK could be more fitting for Ren. Especially if Nora’s favorite is Chainsaw Man because both series are inspirationally intertwined and share similarities and even the mangaka of JJK Gege and the mangaka of Chainsaw Man Fujimoto are good friends so there’s that I guess.
Originally I thought about having MHA be Nora’s favorite but then I remembered Chainsaw Man and it clicked with me that it would be Nora’s absolute favorite lol
Momo being Pyrrha’s favorite character was honestly because I couldn’t think of anyone else so I don’t mind All Might being her favorite character instead
Yeah, I feel that Pyrrha would relate to both really well due to the pressures they all face and how they all feel that they can't really relax or everything will go bad, like Momo being really insecure about losing a lot because she is the class rep, and how All Might felt he had to work alone and be at the top on order to keep the peace of Japan even though he was hurting himself and slowly losing his powers doing so, because they feel as if they need to be the pillars that people rely on, I think that it would be a toss up on those two, maybe it depends on the day, like sometimes my favorites in media changes depending on how I feel for the day, I personally flip flop between Z Broly and Super Broly a lot. Also on the side, I think Megumi would probably be Ren's favorite, especially because if Ren had Ten Shadows vs the Nuckelavee, bro would have absolutely crashed out with Mahoraga within a second! 😅
