I have a gnarly habit of keeping phones way too long. I had an S4 for 7 years. Recently (3 years ago) switched to an A51. It's still going hard! I think I'll keep it for another 6 years.
Last november. Not usually one to get a new thing unless the old one is truly dying/dead but i dropped my old phone in the toilet on accident (it fell out of my pocket as i rounded the corner to go sit down on it) and i could just barely use it to make a backup of my stuff on cloud storage. So i got a new one that didnt have a barely functioning screen. At least ive doubled my storage now.
5 years ago my ex-phone bricked, so I got a new one. 2nd day with the new phone, it went tumbling down the wall while climbing. Since then it restarts randomly like once a day but still works just fine otherwise lol

My S10+ in 2019. Cannot find a upgrade version that gives me the same.
Same phone, same year here.
Half a year ago after drowning my cheap Chinese phone by entering the sea with it in my pocket.
Just last month.
Last boxing day. I got a pixel 8.
My Oppo just had it's 5th birthday. Still holds charge, never broken the screen and even the original charge cable still works.

Kudos! I wish I could do that, the only thing is that the screen or something gets damaged so it's better to get a new one than get it repaired.
November 2021. Purchased a Poco F3. It's a phone and it's doing phone things.
I got this phone in August 2021
A little under a year ago. My phone started acting up so I went ahead and upgraded when I was replacing it.

It's been almost 3 years now. The phone works fine, but I'm thinking about upgrading for a better camera.
