One of my favorite YouTube channels is "Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell." They create beautifully animated videos that explain complex scientific and philosophical topics in a simple and engaging way. It's both educational and visually captivating!
I feel like that video should be mandatory watching in every classroom around the world. It lays out the fact simply and straightforward, your lungs and body in general is going to get its ass blown to smithereens if you smoke. It's an amazing smoking video overall. Highly recommend.
Here is my list in no particular order:
Veritasium
Electroboom
NileRed
Strange Parts
Technology Connections
Nerdforge
Stuff Made Here
LTT
Voices of the Past
SmarterEveryDay
StarTalk
The 8-Bit Guy
GMHikaru
AkaNemsko
Sam O'Nella Academy
Edit: I totally forgot these
Vsauce
CGP Grey
So many good science channels: StarTalk as you mentioned, and then also a lot more hardcore physics:
PBS SpaceTime, Astrum, Anton Petrov, Sabine Hossenfelder, Fermilab.
Lots of rocketry: Everyday Astronaut, NasaSpaceFlight, LabPadre, CSI Starbase, Scott Manley.
Summoning salt has me caring about random speedrunners named Jimmy poopins and being captivated when someone plays a video game point two seconds faster than anyone ever in history. Amazing channel
The Vlog Brothers aka The Green Brothers, its a wonderful channel where Hank & Green Upload and communicate with each other via videos they publish
Theyre more than just a youtube channel, they established free educational videos, raised causes, & their business support locals
Hank is a spectacular presenter of science concepts & breakthroughs
John is good at giving advice for creatives and for those who feel stuck in a rut
they balance each other, they are awesome
My favourites in no particular order are:
WhatCulture for stuff about films and games.
Forgotten weapons, Ian's presentation is brilliant, it's all about the history and mechanics of various guns but he doesn't quite have the typical Oorah! attitude of other gun-tubers.
Viva La Dirt League, a group of hilarious guys from New Zealand that do amazing comedy sketches.
And lastly u/AliceWinterhold is just a delightfully endearing woman that takes us on wonderful trips to the graveyard to ponder on our existence.
Hard question since i have almost 300 subs but lately ive been really liking AshleyRoboto. She is playing fallout 4 rn and thats how i found her but what draws me into her is her personality. She is very funny and she doesnt try. The way she talks while playing is funny because she calls everything babe and idk youd have to watch her to understand.
Honorary mention goes to Miss Chalice. She does elden ring lore videos but she cosplays the thing while talking about it. She has a very soothing british voice, soft spoken, and the visuals she adds onto the video looks amazing. I remember one she had like a cookbook looking thing for one video about ingredients in the game or something.
i used to watch a funny guy named Noman H, dont know if anybody will remember him but he was on youtube he reacted to videos and stuff, he went complete ghost now
Sidemen.
They have a variety of channels aside from their main one, and never fail to make me laugh. I prefer their high-budget videos to those of Mr Beast, as they’re more realistic and funny and don’t seem like they’re trying too hard.
Jackfags and Tomographic are awesome YouTubers/ YouTube channels. In my mother language (German) it's Die Prototypen. Watching them all since many years and I never get bored by their content, I can only recommend them if you love gaming as much as I do
In. I particular order
Thoughty two
Cody's lab
Robert murray Smith (hope he comes back)
Pretty much everything Simon whistler does is interesting as well
I'm also partial to foraging and lifestyle channels including but not limited to
Atomic shrimp
Herbal Jedi
The Townsend's
UK wild foods (or whatever they currently call themselves)
How it should have ended and critical drinker are faves as well
As is nerd3 and Yahtzee as I do like their level of cynical comedy.
I'll also throw in gamers such as caddicarus, top hat gaming man, slopes games room oh can't forget ashens as well. Thor higheels stuff is particularly well done and I do like Sean Seanson as well with his list of obscure PS1 games he tries to get through.
My tastes are pretty eclectic (brutal moose, metal Jesus, radical Reggie, John Riggs) but I like loads of science and learny stuff as well as the more daft and stupid.
Most of the most popular channels are preschool crap anyway. Cocomwlon alone sits at number 2 spot in most viewed yt channel royans world and Vlad and Nikki rate pretty high as well. I can't stand em, my kids used to love them though
Jeff Nippard
Im not even a bodybuilder, I train for relative strength to size and I like higher intensity lower frequency of workouts, he's just very informative and fun to watch
I’d safely say Troyoboyo17. There weee a couple of other options, like Rekrap, Pointy Hat, or Rasputin, but Troyoboyo I’d say has more consistent enjoyable content (for me).
JackFrags and RadBrad, been following those guys for years now, both gaming youtubers who make great videos, I love gaming myself and when I'm not online and have 10 mins to kill I'll watch either of these.
I don't have a specifically favorite youtuber so I have a list (Its maybe a bit too long).
My favorites for music:
* Creo, Marzuku, Daft Punk, Mick Gordon, F-777, Waterflame, KEYGEN CHURCH, Omori OST (By Bo en, Pedro Silva, Jami Lynne, Toby Fox), Undertale/Deltarune OST (By Toby Fox), Ultrakill OST (By Hakita/Heaven Pierce her), Neil Cicierega, tv room
My favorites for some coding stuff:
* Clear Code, Hyperplexed, AsmrProg
My favorites for entertainment:
* The Dasher Podcast, Rekrap2, Max0r, Spu7nix, Npesta, Tride, TheRussianBadger, DeSinc, NileRed, ThinMatrix, GetGianni/Gianni Matragrano, Shayy, Mrwhosetheboss, Vit12, AzureTurk, 8-BitRyan, ISAB, Matt Rose, Phonix SC, GD Colon, No Text To Speech, B-rad, doctor4t, Markiplier
Honorable mentions:

There's so many I like, but right now, the top three are:
1. Nanou ASMR .. helps me sleep. Very soothing.
2. Lydia Violet ... I think she's funny and entertaining.
3. Burn the Jukebox ... I like their music and energy.
They are all very talented, and it's wonderful to see them all doing well.

One of my favorite YouTube channels is "Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell." They create beautifully animated videos that explain complex scientific and philosophical topics in a simple and engaging way. It's both educational and visually captivating!
Also it's a free occasional dose of existential dread
Their recent smoking video also has a suprisingly banger soundtrack

Don't blink, or you might miss the entire human history.
I like it less since they started with the "aliens bad" obsession.
Wendigoon
Wendigoon help me understand why many usa citizens feel like they need their automatic guns. I don't agree, but I see their point.
They don't have automatics very common misconception
Yes, my bad, I meant assault rifle kind of guns.
He's my favorite channel as well. Great videos about weird subjects
Not Mr.Beast
It used to be good
Rotten Mango. Stephanie Soo tells true crime stories in detail. All stories are well-researched and her storytelling skill is incredible.
Oh wow, an INFJ here! :D
She has a very calming voice while telling truly disturbing stories
Right. So calming that I use her videos to help me fall asleep.
