It's a really good show. I'm surprised there isn't more chat about it (at least not much in the my circle). It's cheesy as hell, and has maybe gotten a bit self aware in it's last season. But it really is fun. it's like an old school, well-written network show that has a formulae and the formulae works.
No idea to be honest, never saw Miracles. Evil doesn't take itself too serious, but it's not overly self aware and winking at the camera. It can be gloriously and ridiculously over the top and Michael Emerson is peak Michael Emerson and seems to be having fun.
It was too ahead of its time. I remember loving g it when it first came out but it was very serialized and hard to not miss a couple episodes and then you'd just be lost. I really need to go back and binge it, I bet it's fantastic that way.
I gave up on it when a gravitational slingshot sent the guy to the other side of the galaxy. Especially since they acted like it had never been done before (you know, besides every god damn probe we've sent to the outer solar system).
Edit: Except for New Horizons, obviosuly.
The maneuver itself wasn't what sent him there, it's just how he got to the location where it happened. But yeah the slingshot talk at the start could have definitely been done better.

I guess I am part of the problem who wants star wars porn like rogue one (I creamed my pants with the vader on the corridor scene and kept feeling good when I saw something I recognized on the screen)
yeah, I dont care about the plot of rogue one at all, I just like the nostalgia and the big set pieces and the space dog fights

I watched it all, amazing, amazing show. heard ted denson on the conan podcast recently saying how hard it was to deliver lines with such intricate philosofical meaning while being funny; great episode; its ted and woody harrelson
