wait dude i thought i was the only one, i could only find tutorials on how to fix error 610 with the error message "can not join place without authenticated user", i never found someone else with the placeid issue, i need help too and i still can't find a fix. I've tried the app on the microsoft store, restarting, deleting roblox, checking if my antivirus blocked it, i tried the command prompt fix, logging out and logging in, i still can't find ANYTHING and that's why i came to reddit for this one, kinda stressing out as well. By the way I'm able to join on friends but I can't play alone, is it the same for you?

i haven't tested that, and for some reason it just self resolved itself.
