Jericho did the spot against Triple H after he tore his quad to reverse a pedigree on the table in the classic tag team titles match when the Two Man Power trip lost the tag titles to Jericho and his partner. It was fucking awesome in that match and Jericho did it out of desperation, NOT because he thought it would do more damage. But like most things AEW I'm sure this was a very shitty version to something cool that happened decades ago.

I've never been a regular Fed watcher (TNA shill here, yes, we exist), but whenever I tune in to Smackdown, someone either goes through the table, there is a tease of going through the table (taking off the monitors) or at the very least, someone gets slammed face first into it. Every. single. show.
Those Fed spots aren't botched at least though.

I don’t see how unless Hangman dissolves him in acid in the ring. Swerve broke into his house and beat him twice with one of those hanging the Hangman. Maybe it will be some weird 3 of 5 thing that no one really communicated.
I wish that clip started a few seconds earlier to capture the full stupidity of the moment. Garcia didn't even put Swerve onto the table. For no fucking reason, Swerve just crawls on top, scooches himself to the middle and turns onto his back to wait for Garcia.
Ok so...when the mics pick up the crowd CLEAR AS A BELL chanting "You Fucked Up", does AEW get in trouble with the network for that? Because I remember like, WCW and WWE muting the crowd mics for that but AEW hasn't ever really done that as far as I know.
The first several times they tried to use the desk it didn’t fall apart like the WWE ones (which are clearly gimmicked for good reason) and it looked painful. Then it looked like they adjusted it because the side piece or leg fell off with nothing happening. This week was awful and embarrassing.
It has been at ringside during Collision and some PPVs but not usually Dynamite (except for the back to back taping nights in Montreal). I wonder if it was at ringside this week for that spot.
They have a 3 man team and constantly have guest commentators but the desk is small. Funny that the Wooo Energy Drink can also got smashed but no liquid. Must have been empty.
Glad someone double checked there was enough room for this spot…
This is my main critique it just seems like nothing is planned out more than “this would look cool wanna do it? Yeah? Sweet.”
