I firmly believe there is no professional PR adviser working with Harry. Any good PR guy would see the impending disaster with this endless string of undeserved awards. I mean, after he accepted the anti-racism award to state later there had been no racism! Or the legend of aviation that was clearly a paid one. But Harry's biggest mistake is cosy up to the award named after an actual hero with an actual living family, which took exception and wasn't afraid to say so.

TMZ is pro Harry and Meghan because they talk to the press, put out stories that can get clicks. Harry and Meghan are the best thing to happen to those in media who want Royal connections. The Royal family is silent. Meghan and Harry won't shut up. So of course the media wants Meghan and Harry to keep talking. But at some point the markling gets to them. TMZ may love Meghan and Harry but their viewers hate them. They have to reflect the reality sometimes.

You're right about TMZ wanting Harry to do stuff for easy royal-adjacent reporting. I don't think Harry and Meghan get many clicks in the US though. They're not Harry Styles or Megan Fox level here, that's for sure. In any case, TMZ in general is kind of known for trashy news and commentary.

My husband was in Iraq and served as an Armor officer for 7 years. When I told him that Haz was getting this award, he was angry. And this is coming from a man who barely pays attention to any pop culture.

My Dad was a Vietnam Vet. He also died for his country. Fuck Bunker Harry, the sniveling, traitorous, little coward that he is.

My husband who is an Army officer and served in Afghanistan was also pretty upset with this. He signed the petition!

When the mother of the person who the award is named after, tells the organization it’s an insult, take note. The Tillman family should remove Pat’s name and all identifying information. What’s more, are the Espy’s going to give the Tillman’s equal time on stage to say why Henry does not deserve this award.

The problem is that Mrs Tillman and the Tillman siblings are no longer affiliated with the foundation - forced out and replaced by his widow and her new husband 😞

I think they tried to force this by rushing the announcement because of the judge. I think he was in consideration and in typical MeMe fashion made an announcement to make it so... Like her Dior announcement... ARO....

If he had only been “under consideration,” the organization sponsoring the award could have said so. Instead, they seem to have confirmed it. What would be lovely is if they backtracked and announced that it was all a mistake, that Harry had been mentioned for the award but because he wasn’t an American, it had been decided to remove him from the running. (Or something like that.)
