Hmmm, that would actually be cool.
I was hoping 1.0 would come out sooner rather than later, but it looks like I have some building to do, and time is now against me
don't forget that you can make loooooong conveyer lifts by setting up a floor hole aligned with the other. It will reach way beyond the normal height/length of a lift.
That would be cool to reach this down under.
Hey, he was just wondering what to do. Prior to patching in plutonium, waste was unavoidable for nuclear, and having a giant undersea storage facility would be pretty neat.
You know, I’d have to go look. I’m not entirely positive. It might be 0, but that might also be the hard floor of the world underneath everything. I’m not by my computer and the save editor is borderline useless on mobile, so I’ll need to check later.
If you want to check on your own, go out to one of the border oceans and hold control while placing a foundation at the water’s surface level. Save and go into the editor and adjust that foundation’s position to see its Y value.
You could have a platform up top that all the end materials get sent to. Then worst case you can't do anything to your factory but it continues to produce?
Took me two trips and then I didn't care anymore. Would go straight past one and when it roared I would just go: yeah, yeah, you're big and scary. I'm positively trembling. :/
Protip; at the far edge of the Grassands you can 'just' roll a whole-ass train under there. It's probably not the only place where it's possible either.
> I’m currently working on a 2400MW coal plant
I recommend against this. Better to pause factory development with just a little bit of power overhead and get yourself to fuel generators.
Especially with alternate recipes (heavy oil residue and packaged diluted fuel) you can make 6,000MW out of just 225 crude oil/min and 600 packaged water/min.
Eh, there's something to be said for [using a lot of coal power](https://i.imgur.com/5HE44ED.jpg). It's easy enough to set up and then forget, and letting it power rail lines means you can easily tap power everywhere else.
This is using all of the available coal and most of the available sulfur nearby to feed as many coal plants as I could usefully cram in that area. :)
Also my favorite starting position for any playthrough.
This video makes me very uneasy. I especially hated the bit where you were on the bottom and then you jumped and went back into the water for a split second. Now my stomach is in knots.
The lower world limit is -244m, absolute scale.
The northwest corner of the map, way out over the water, is about 1500m from land. That's my choice spot for nuclear waste.
(or build some kind of floating thing that's up really high, as you can go up to around 2000m)
You can also just swim out until you start falling and then move back into the water.
CSS is well aware of this and AFAIR they have it on their polishing list for 1.0 together with locations where there are just holes in the water.
Building in caves is dangerous with regard to map updates. Building under water is begging for pain.
But you do you. Whatever floats your boat. Or sinks it in this context 😅
Just go to the western shore. Swim west. Keep swimming until you fall.
You can also build a concrete strip and run out, testing every once in a while if the water is still swimmable.
Don't have all your valuable stuff with you and maybe carry a jetpack. I'm not responsible for hard to reach death crates 😅
It's enough to immediately go back east while falling. Then, you can swim up again.
But a jetpack is always a good idea when building massive off-shore oil rigs 😅
Welp. I think I have a new factory location.
I’m skeptical to build down here. What if using the ladder down gets patched out and my whole factory is in purgatory 😢
Call it atlantis?
Hmmm, that would actually be cool. I was hoping 1.0 would come out sooner rather than later, but it looks like I have some building to do, and time is now against me
SquarePantis
ARE YA READY, PIONEERS!?!
AYE AYE, ADA!
OHHHHH WHO LIVES IN A FACTORY UNDER THE SEA?
BIGGER BOOT FROM SHELL CITY!!
The city of lost frames
Nuclear waste storage.
Oh great idea. Too bad I’m not even at fuel generators yet
Doesn't stop you just sticking an epic fuckton of bins down there and some low-tier conveyors.
don't forget that you can make loooooong conveyer lifts by setting up a floor hole aligned with the other. It will reach way beyond the normal height/length of a lift. That would be cool to reach this down under.
That was my thought as well.
No need to generate waste. There are plenty of examples available where they show you how to avoid "waste"
Hey, he was just wondering what to do. Prior to patching in plutonium, waste was unavoidable for nuclear, and having a giant undersea storage facility would be pretty neat.
Hypertubes…?
Oooo that might work!
Yeah just make a long ass pipeline to the surface. Complicated problems require complicated solutions.
Gotta go fast!
Oh boy hypertube launcher straight into the water at Mach 5! 🤣🤣🤣 I can see Josh from let’s game it out do something like this!
I’m sure I could figure out how to share the save if any fanatics want to utilize this glitch more than I will
If you lose access, highlight the whole thing in SCIM and elevate it to the water level.
What is water level, exactly? I could use this information
You know, I’d have to go look. I’m not entirely positive. It might be 0, but that might also be the hard floor of the world underneath everything. I have foundations at the water level that I could probably check to estimate the exact digit. But I’m tipsy right now and I’ll forget later
Ha, fair enough. I’ll try to remember to check when I get home.
Generally CSS fixes terrain issues but doesn’t move player built objects.
You could have a platform up top that all the end materials get sent to. Then worst case you can't do anything to your factory but it continues to produce?
Build a hypertube between the surface and underworld and you're safe
What if you build a hypertube to it?
And this is where I'd put nuclear waste
Run a hypertube down to it. I don't think the devs have any intention of removing the ability to go below the map via hypertube
Do you play modded ? You could add the teleporter mod if so
No, completely vanilla. I haven’t had any desire to use mods yet. Only a few hundred hours total so far
There’s still a secret tunnel in the desert biome that u can use to clip under the map. Or use hyper tubes
Well it’s not a secret anymore!
Satisnautica
Detecting multiple leviathan class lifeforms in the region, are you certain whatever it is you are doing is worth it?
You know I had almost gotten past that nightmare of game and you just hadddd to remind me of the horrors I experienced
You're welcome!
Took me two trips and then I didn't care anymore. Would go straight past one and when it roared I would just go: yeah, yeah, you're big and scary. I'm positively trembling. :/
Me piloting the sub through Fallen River to the Ghost: 'Im gonna pay you $20 and this buoy to fuck off'
I was at the same point then just got upset and went out to knife them
Never turned around so fast.
Subfactory
Your solution is, Satisfactory. Well done player.
Clipping as much as possible xD,
Protip; at the far edge of the Grassands you can 'just' roll a whole-ass train under there. It's probably not the only place where it's possible either.
Good to know. I’m currently working on a 2400MW coal plant above the glitch. Once I get power up and running, the building begins.

Too late. I already started building underwater logistics and it looks cool

Ha! That’s exactly where I started building. My factories are a bit south with the impure coal nodes running a temporary plant
This is using all of the available coal and most of the available sulfur nearby to feed as many coal plants as I could usefully cram in that area. :) Also my favorite starting position for any playthrough.
This video makes me very uneasy. I especially hated the bit where you were on the bottom and then you jumped and went back into the water for a split second. Now my stomach is in knots.
Unknot your stomach to proceed living.
Hellu, I'm under the water
This looks primed for nuclear waste storage. And if it gets patched and disappeared, well, then the waste problem is doubly solved.
The lower world limit is -244m, absolute scale. The northwest corner of the map, way out over the water, is about 1500m from land. That's my choice spot for nuclear waste. (or build some kind of floating thing that's up really high, as you can go up to around 2000m)
You can walk to the void in the middle of the map and reach the lower limit in this hell that I found. That would be a good spot
I haven’t been able to swim out. Is there a…. Special way to do it?
Just go to the western shore. Swim west. Keep swimming until you fall. You can also build a concrete strip and run out, testing every once in a while if the water is still swimmable. Don't have all your valuable stuff with you and maybe carry a jetpack. I'm not responsible for hard to reach death crates 😅
Sorry. I meant survive once you fall. lol.
It's enough to immediately go back east while falling. Then, you can swim up again. But a jetpack is always a good idea when building massive off-shore oil rigs 😅
Hey there it's Josh and welcome back to let's game it out
Excited Josh noises
I was genuinely waiting for you to fall off the ladder and then the Skyrim intro to start.
I have seen other people build down there.
Can you get a train line down to it?
I love that tiny underwater section at 0:32
It's a dangerous business going out your door...
Me on my way to hell to find the guy who invented raisins cookies
Um, oatmeal raisin? I’m sorry if you don’t want to enjoy natures carnohydrated goodness along with great digestive functions
You just created a monster.
Let’s see, if that makes it to 1.0
Something something snake eater
Just normal 1.0 Gameplay I guess 😂
Yup. Vanilla
Wtf.... i'm so confused about
Additional pylon constructed I see. Well done. And you can use that space now :)
What game is this hahahaha
It's free real estate
What a Thrill
Damn, very nice nuclear waste disposal
Imma use this as a nuclear waste storage and if it gets patched then thats fine cuz its just plutonium waste nothing important 🤷♂️
Don't give Josh any new ideas!
How do you change your initial machine color? Make it appear in white, rather than orange?
Just change the FICSIT Building primary color to white. As long as you have painting unlocked, the menu should pop up by pressing ‘x’
LOL, wut.
The ladder to Bikini Bottom, and those foundations go to Rock Bottom
Wow.. I thought I had seen it all.. but THAT is new!
