Without a HAB to respawn at, what happens if you die?
You respawn at a random location in the starting area. If the HUB is not built, you have HUB parts in inventory upon spawning. Don't know though if you have them when the drop pod still exists.
That’s what I was referring to because, IIRC, dismantling the HUB is what gives you the parts. Hilarious either way
Did you try to restart from the beginning and or dismantling the pod before jumping down?

Did you try turning it off and on again?
