I know that for high school kids, most of the kids I drove in years past, they were going to summer school because they wanted to. They were trying to get ahead and get classes out of the way. There were those that had to make up classes, too. My summer routes were usually pretty mellow. It's always a relief when the kids are better behaved.
My summer school kids are really mellow too. My kids during the school year are quiet in the morning and absolutely CRAZY and wound up in the afternoon. It’s like night and day.
