It looks great but I can't really tell for sure without a wrist shot. These FKM Tropics can look alright laying on a desk but the square, cut off lug ends sometimes look pretty terrible when worn on certain watches. I have quite a few of the ones from Juelong and the quality is good. Especially for the price. The other issue is that they don't work with fat springbars. Very few AliExpress FKM straps do unfortunately. This same strap looks amazing on the SRPK17.
The US are 2.5mm. They seem to be the same size as the OEM SKX's spring bars. I prefer the US fat ones over the OEM since the latter are shoulderless and difficult to remove.

Black rubber indeed looks good. I use a black US GL831, very comfy as well.

Be sure to use the proper fatboy spring bars on a Seiko diver; standard ones can damage the case over time
These came with quick release spring bars. I removed those, and put in 22mm Uncle Straps fat ones. Fit in nicely.

I actually just removed the QR spring bar ones, and put in 22 fat spring bars by Uncle Straps. Perfect fit!

Imo no, there's no accent to compliment the red. The text is orange. I'd bang on a black tropical if it were me.

I didn't know that! The gl831 is an excellent choice on that.
Googling faded SKX's, looks like the text fades more towards a yellowish tone with sun exposure. In any case, love how it patinas!
