You have clearly put in the effort - that muscle definition in your back is INSANE. Congratulations! (fwiw, you looked great before too - and I give you ALL the credit in the world: not a single underwear pic of me at my heaviest exists).
For sure!! I want to say I am also proof positive of this!! I used to strength train heavily in my late twenties and then stopped. Had a relatable low body fat percentage for most of my adult life was never heavy until later in life when had kids in 40s etc. and couldn’t get the weight off ballooned up to 220. Got on sema and GLP1s at 210 and am now 118. I have t strength trained in decades and yet when I shed all the fat the muscle definition in my arms chest back and thighs and abdomen is all still there! However I will say I indeed lost by giant ass but one might argue there wasn’t much muscle there to begin with. 🤷♀️ that could have been mostly blubber. And I am working on building that booty up a bit. But yeah I am amazed at how defined my arms still are after twenty plus years and not
Lifting a dang weight or purposefully doing anything to build muscle with a nearly 100 pound weight
Loss. 5’2 49F.
What can I say that others have not already said.
You did not just lose weight, you did a legit body recomposition.
You don’t look skinny or thin, you look strong and athletic.
Legit impressive.
I’ve been lifting weights every day since I started as well. I have not suffered from low energy on Sema. I’m not sure if that’s just luck or something I’m doing. But I’ve been very intentional about taking vitamins/supplements, eating quality food and regular sleep and exercise habits. I had a couple weeks at the highest dose with a bit of fatigue but otherwise energy level has been high
Wow!! What a transformation. I started working out and Pilates. Because I was expecting the shot to make the fat magically disappear without any effort from me. Your photos have motivated me to take a 2 mile walk this evening as the sun goes down, even though I had 50 minutes of Pilates earlier today. #inspiring
Dang girl look at your progress! You're doing great. Also that bra/top/bralette in your before pic has such cute detailing on it. Your workout gains in the second pic look evident! Well done. :D
You did it girl! You won what I want. Dang , it was good to see this today. I needed to see something from another girl in the high 200’s making it to the mid 100’s. I’m proud of you, and me too. I’m on my way to winning what you have.
Wow excellent work - This is so affirming as it’s very aligned with my plan - I wanted to lose 40 lbs with sema to feel more comfortable and confident to get to the gym - I’m at 36 lbs down so no looking back.
Wow. One of the best transformation photos I have seen. Your hard work has paid off and you have a great attitude about your journey. Very inspirational.
I had the nausea, constipation, diarreah, sulfur burps, and I pushed through a couple of months of that then it went away. I learned what made me have those symptoms and figured out what to stay away from, different treatments for different symptoms, and made it out alive
I try to stay at 1200-1500 calories a day, I don’t cry if I go over a bit, but it’s mostly lean protein. I make pulled pork and hamburger patties all the time. I keep microwave turkey sausage in my fridge at all times
I’m bad at dieting, but I try to eat lean meats, I get about 160 grams of protein a day, eating straight chicken breast with Texas Pete, hamburgers with mustard, turkey sausages
I tracked today and realized I’m only getting ~100-110 grams of protein. Just worried it’s not enough when being in a caloric deficit and lifting weights. Thanks for your reply.
When you started in the gym, did your weight loss stall for a period of time? I started week 4 back in the gym today and my weight loss has all but stalled. I was on meds for a month before going back to the gym. I’d lost 11lbs. I’ve been back in the gym for 3 full weeks and have only lost 2 in that time. I know that I’m obviously building muscle (plus my body looks wildly better already) and losing inches but the stalled weight loss is driving me nuts. I get that water retention is absolutely a thing but it all seems absurd at this point. If you don’t mind sharing, I’d love to know what your diet has looked like. I’m working one on one with a certified trainer so I’d like to think that I’m doing everything right but I’m getting a bit frustrated. I am about 15lbs less at the moment than you are in your before photo with a goal to end up down around 40-50 more lbs. I’m hoping I can look as fantastic as you in 7 months!!!
Honestly yes and yes, it stalled like crazy, then 5 pounds would come off out of nowhere, just keep at it, make it a part of your life. Live as a “fit girl” and I swear it happens so fast, so it’s been a month, next thing you know 5 months have passed. And your body looks completely different, I would notice like shoulder muscles developing, and I was like daaaamn never had those before, now I have friggin abs, it happened so quickly but when you say 7 months it seems like a long time. January literally feels like a couple of months ago for me.
Keep at it! I swear it will happen!!
And I try to focus protein protein protein!
Thank you!! This is the push I need - especially having an actual visual of someone close to the size I am and the size I want to be. I’m a 12ish now and would like to be a 6 and have a very similar body how. 7 months does seem like a super long time until I consider I’ve been back at this nearly a month and it feels like i started yesterday.
I’m getting 150g protein a day so I should be good to go on that front! I was pushing it with the weight loss alone and upped it another 50g when I got back in the gym.
Oh wow. Congrats!
I just started taking it today.
I used to be fit, but after covid, I couldn't get back into the gym. But seeing this gives me motivation! Thanks
Join a bootcamp style gym, they do classes, focusing every day on a different part of the body, they incorporate cardio into weight lifting. That’s literally where the muscles came from, I started off using 10 pound dumbbells and dying, but every week or two I made it a goal to increase my weights to keep getting stronger
What does your diet look like? Do you have a set macro to hit for protein? Also, did you dose all the way to the highest dose? My doc is keeping me at 1.
OK FINE 🤣 You completely inspire me to get busier at the gym. You look incredible. Congratulations on ALL the hard work. You deserve the payout here, and I wish you every happiness 💕.
Can you please tell me how on what dose do you stay for such long time? I haven't been explained what to do after being bumped to 40 units .... also, you never had gastric distress? It kills me
Girl tell me your workout routine please!!! I started in Dec too. Also size 16, down to like a 10? Maybe. Been in the gym doing weight training but can’t seem to get rid of my bat wings/arm flab or my mommy belly.
Yes was confident I was going to need a lot of surgery, but working out and getting core exercises in, I was very surprised how much it has tightened up
Thanks for sharing this!! I have been hesitant to start because of the fear of loose skin. It would be like going from unhappiness with my body because of extra fat, to unhappiness with my body because of extra skin lol. But this is super encouraging.
There was a point about 20 pounds ago, that I thought I should gain 10 pounds because of the loose skin and make it look better, but it really did shrink up, I’m glad I kept going, but truly working out going heavier with weights every couple of weeks, focusing on abs also, it truly does shrink
Oh I have it and had it, as in there are spots that are a little wrinkly, but my stomach was hanging bad but I swear it shrunk up!

There is still the pooch, but I’ve been hitting core workouts so hard to help shrink it more
Wow! You look like a completely different person! My favorite part is when people I’ve known for years but haven’t seen in a while walk past and don’t recognize me at all.

In was about to say the same, crazy muscle definition! Did you have any trouble upping the exercise while on sema? Congrats on the progress!
Nice. Visual proof muscle loss isn't unavoidable on this drug.
Absolutely

How did you deal with the low energy? That’s what I’m struggling with. Sometimes I find myself skipping workouts
Honestly, I workout at 6:15 am in the morning, changed my sleeping habits, and have an 8 oz sugar free red bull about 20 minutes before my workout
nice move using the Red Bull as a pre workout supplement :)
I’m always a sleepy girl but I have my morning routines to wake my ass up
I’ve been lifting weights every day since I started as well. I have not suffered from low energy on Sema. I’m not sure if that’s just luck or something I’m doing. Omg me too. I have ZERO energy.
Your back is ripped. Very nice work.
You look great! What’s your workout routine? Exercise is definitely one thing I still haven’t gotten back into 🥴
I do bootcamp group fitness classes 5-6 times a week
That is impressive dedication!
Burn Boot Camp? I do that one.
Wow!! What a transformation. I started working out and Pilates. Because I was expecting the shot to make the fat magically disappear without any effort from me. Your photos have motivated me to take a 2 mile walk this evening as the sun goes down, even though I had 50 minutes of Pilates earlier today. #inspiring
Those shoulders though! Great job!
This is so motivating! You look amazing and strong 💪 from one stranger to another, in proud of you

I’m outta curiosity is the size 16 your SW or just what were in December? You def have motivated me by the day!!!! Thank u!
I started at size 20-18 but that pic was the same size I was a size 16, I documented all weight and sizes through the past year
[удалено]
I was a size 16 yes in the before pic
Thank you for being inspirational. I have been working out and lost a lot, but I need to push more weight training. Amazing job!
Nice, props to you pics are proof you dont have to have muscle loss while on a GLP-1 medication
Amazing achievement, you must be so proud of yourself 🙌
Ooooo those back muscles girl! 🔥🔥🔥
Omg I want your back muscle definition and tone! Way to go girl.
I have the same kitty and vibe suit!

Your back looks incredible!!! 💪
What kind of dose did you reach?
well that is next level to say the least!
If that's NOT motivation, I don't know what is? We're you on name brand or off brand semaglutide?
Wow excellent work - This is so affirming as it’s very aligned with my plan - I wanted to lose 40 lbs with sema to feel more comfortable and confident to get to the gym - I’m at 36 lbs down so no looking back.
Whoa! You went from curvy goddess to fierce warrior. Awesome!
Wow. One of the best transformation photos I have seen. Your hard work has paid off and you have a great attitude about your journey. Very inspirational.

What sema are yiu on??
I love all your muscles! You look beautiful. Goals! Congrats! Side note, you had amazing curves before also! :)
It’s true! I was thinking the same thing! Her shape at size 16 is spectacular! I lost my waist years ago. Now I look like a beach ball with legs!
That's amazing. Has it been all positive then? I'm really worried due to any side effects to start x
I had the nausea, constipation, diarreah, sulfur burps, and I pushed through a couple of months of that then it went away. I learned what made me have those symptoms and figured out what to stay away from, different treatments for different symptoms, and made it out alive
Damn girl🔥🔥🔥U look so good I’m on my 3rd wk & not losing much yet but I hope I get there too💪🏋️Congratulations 🙌👏🎊🎉

Thank you for sharing. You are an inspiration. Amazing job. The hard work you put in shows.
You look so fit. Congrats!
What was your diet? Congratulations!
I try to stay at 1200-1500 calories a day, I don’t cry if I go over a bit, but it’s mostly lean protein. I make pulled pork and hamburger patties all the time. I keep microwave turkey sausage in my fridge at all times
WOW!! 😎👍🎉🎉 looks great!! Congrats!!!
Beautiful!!! Good job
Question for you. Do you track your protein? I am lifting weights as my main form of exercise 4-5x a week and am concerned about protein intake.

Join a bootcamp style gym, they do classes, focusing every day on a different part of the body, they incorporate cardio into weight lifting. That's seriously amazing. I will look into it!

OK FINE 🤣 You completely inspire me to get busier at the gym. You look incredible. Congratulations on ALL the hard work. You deserve the payout here, and I wish you every happiness 💕.
QUEEN
Can you please tell me how on what dose do you stay for such long time? I haven't been explained what to do after being bumped to 40 units .... also, you never had gastric distress? It kills me
Wow! Congratulations! You look incredible
Well done!! About how much protein are you eating per day, and/or are you following a particular diet? Thanks so much for the inspo!
First pic 💕
Wow- gorgeous! But you looked incredibly proportional in the first picture- you have a beautiful figure
Girl tell me your workout routine please!!! I started in Dec too. Also size 16, down to like a 10? Maybe. Been in the gym doing weight training but can’t seem to get rid of my bat wings/arm flab or my mommy belly.
I do Bootcamp group fitness classes 5-6 times a week, I think the extra cardio with the weights in those classes help
Congrats!! You look fantastic 💪🏼 if you don’t mind me asking have you struggled with loose skin at all?
Wow!! Really impressive!! How did you not get lose skin? This is my current concern.
Oh I have it and had it, as in there are spots that are a little wrinkly, but my stomach was hanging bad but I swear it shrunk up! https://preview.redd.it/g5ycbj0mwl8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fcc54020095d7f39da6ff02ce41dd2122e419aa There is still the pooch, but I’ve been hitting core workouts so hard to help shrink it more
Look how powerful your legs are from carrying the weight they carried for so long, combined with added conditioning once you started shedding weight.
Looks awesome to me. Did you do fasting?
No, I tried fasting years ago, my schedule with work doesn’t give me the proper eating times during the day
Wow! You look like a completely different person! My favorite part is when people I’ve known for years but haven’t seen in a while walk past and don’t recognize me at all.
That happens to me every day at work working in a salon haha honestly it’s gets a little annoying after awhile
Who did you go thru for your sema? I’m having such a hard time picking
