I don't tend to pokeball match, but you can't go wrong with a heal ball and a pink shiny. I also think shiny Illumise with an ultra ball works beautifuly.

I like luxury ball for extra sparkles and it looks good on most Pokemon.

For me it depends on if there is a matching ball since some shinies don't have a ball with colors to match. So sometimes I'll use a ball that fits the theme of the Pokemon. Which turns out to be a lot of dusk balls, like I caught a shiny Mewtwo in ShSw in a dusk ball because I didn't like the effect the nest ball had with Mewtwo even though the Nest ball is the closest to shiny Mewtwos colour.
