You do realise that psychiatric medicine is anything from stimulants to antidepressants to antipsychotics. One of these classes of drugs will have strong appetite suppressant properties but the other two increase appetite and slow down metabolism
It's weird how they affect different people. I was on duloxetine (generic Cymbalta) for a while and it made me constantly nauseous for the first maybe 6 months and all the other side effects were pretty crap as well. I quit that for a while and now I'm on venlafaxine and my appetite has actually improved a bit (above my unmedicated baseline) which is good because I missed cooking and enjoying food, and I've had no other side effects so I'm happy enough with that haha
The withdrawal (when I've had to miss it) was the same as duloxetine. They both have short elimination half lives and it hits like a train. So for better or for worse, I already have experience of what I'm gonna go through

yea I became a black hole for food instead
That's why it's a shitty life pro-tip, isn't it?
Touché
This post was based on my personal experiences as a joke. JFC
And it wasn't wrong, just needes clarification
Nah, it didn’t. You chose to act smug for no reason whatsoever except to feel superior.
Didn't realize being an asshole was also a side effect of [insert medication you're on].
This is why I took up smoking. Between the pills and the cigarettes, I hardly ever eat!
If only this were true
Unfortunately they don’t all curb appetite. Cymbalta has helped me gain a lot.

I would be careful with venla, it is hell to get off of

Some diabetes meds also have the same effect.
Lie! I take antidepressants and have more appetite than ever!
I guess it depends which one you’re on. All the ones I’ve been on have suppressed appetite, haha…
I need names!
Lexapro!
Or dumpster dive.
