I had a house built in 2002. The wife at the time was next level pissed when we were in the design center picking out carpet and I asked about the Technicolor yawn colored carpet. We had three young kids. Of course I was thinking ahead.
On this car? Those seats would be more legit if there was a chandelier hanging in it to match the Persian rug seats. Like that car from the post a couple of weeks ago
is it really awful though? this looks like the kinda car where the seats were already trashed, so anything without holes would probably be an improvement.
I agree. Looking at the door panels, the car has to be from the 70's or 80's. I bet those seats were shredded. Not doing it to my 2021 model car, but can see it for a trashed car.0
I’ve seen seat covers like that in Saudi Arabia, usually in Mercedes or Caprices (early 1990s).
They worked. Don’t hate them if the vehicle is right.
No different than throwing a Mexican blanket over the bench seat of an old Chevy pickup.
these aren't seat covers, these bad boys are custom, and it looks really good. not perfectly symmetrical, but nice for what was probably a throwaway rug.
I checked back to see if you got a specific answer, but alas, no. They must have been custom, as in custom-custom one-offs. Like Le-Charles says - and maybe the customer supplied the material. Which used to be window drapes. Like Mary Poppins!
Id kill for a brand new car with velour/carpet seats. I friggin HAT leather seats. Like besides sturdiness and the ability to have heated seats, there's no advantage to leather.
I unironically LOVE the commercial velour seating material used in public transit. The bristle in it makes sliding around much more difficult, it's never too hot or cold, and it's easy to clean. Bonus... Awesome trapper-keeper 80s style patterns that conceal dirt and wear.
Way too well made. This is a next level. Aside from that, such things were very common in Central Asia. It was more durable than factory fabric seats and it was way better than cheap leather imitation seats.
wow, i LOVE it.
obviously this would be stupid for a new car, but an old beater with shitty fucked up seats? this is hilariously awesome.
can anyone actually tell what kinda car this is? feels like an 80s merc
Hell yes. Imagine getting laid in the back seat on a hot summer night and this cozy ass carpet is rubbing yours and your chicks skin?! *Fantasy unlocked*
Zero percent shitty. Underneath could be absolutely shit stained & destroyed. Centered & cheap. No different to grandma's seat warmers / crochet seat covers.
Well, at a glance the car appears normal, but if the cops pull you over, the subterfuge won’t last.
Next time, don’t let your buddy shoot Marvin in the face, and you won’t have to carpet over the upholstery to hide the brain matter and pieces of skull.
Pretty well executed - graphics are centered to the seats, proportional. I actually like the look. I ain't mad at this at all.
as long as it's soft and not itchy, I'd drive the shit out of this interior
The design and colors are consistent with a Kashmir silk rug. They are very soft.
Yeah I dig it. Hope the dash is woodgrain
I had a Kashmir silk rug for a long time. Soft is an understatement.
Just think of all the pudding and juice box stains these could hide
[Slaps hood] this baby can guzzle gogurts like your favorite porn star
Fuck this comment is going to be living rent free in my head for the foreseeable future
She's a real cream~~puff~~pie.

Background colors: grape and mixed berry
Are you horrified by white interiors like I am?
Yeah I'm not mad that's well done. Not my style but respect the work.
It really tied the room together, Dude.
Glad you said something. I didn't even want to admit it to myself that I thought it was kind of cool.

Those seats really tie the car together, man.
CALMER THAN YOU ARE
Waving a fucking gun around!?
That's just like, your opinion, man.
That's just like, your carpet, man.
The seats are not the issue here, dude!
What carpet you talkin about, dude?
Dude, Like, cmon man!
Fuckin A man

I absolutely crave wool rugs against my skin when I’m in the f****** desert
Tbf, better than leather or vinyl. Still don't know why those are the default "premium" option these days.
Would take it over the cooked ass leather would give you
Huh! Where would someone even get those? No, really. Where. Asking for a friend.
I checked back to see if you got a specific answer, but alas, no. They must have been custom, as in custom-custom one-offs. Like Le-Charles says - and maybe the customer supplied the material. Which used to be window drapes. Like Mary Poppins!
A damn good upholstery shop.
Those would be dope in an old school Mercedes 300D (W123)
yeah, i kinda dig it
Or better yet a GAZ-24
Fosho, or any European sedan from the 70s-80s
Any W123 or W124 wagon I'm kinda pissed I didn't think if it when I had my 300TE
Better than leather when it's summer and your bare thighs are touching the seat
Mine is black. I have a glass roof. Today was a rough day.🔥
I hope I'm not supposed to know what that means
The glass roof made it extra hot in my car. I’ve grabbed freshly welded pipe that was cooler
Those...... Aren't too bad actually. I've seen worse attempted recovers than these.
This is all the rage in Bangladesh!
Looks dope af actually
Looks like something you’d see in a Turkish taxi.
And it be pretty durable
You know whoever owns that definitely smokes.
I'll withhold judgement until I see the drapes.
Arts you checking to see if they match or that they've just accessorized well?
Fuck that's awesome. Where can I get this done?
I like them tbh
Sorry but I like it.
i like it
Yes please
Not gonna lie, that's actually pretty sweet
I dig it
Nah that's rad

I've owned multiple cars with heated cloth. Whips leather's ass.
~~Well.... it ties the car together.~~ (already mentioned) I sort of like it, maybe even a lot.
These look dope
That would be dope in my scion.
The Dude abides.
I like it
Not gonna lie that’s pretty sick looking. And some good craftsmanship as far as who did the upholstery work.
I love the idea of having carpeted seats like this in an old Mercedes-Benz.
If the rest of the car is equally bizarre, it could look cool
This was actually a dope mod when it was done, probably early to mid-70’s,
Added points if it’s in a Volvo station wagon
Magic carpet ride to a whole new world for you and me.
Magic carpet
Busses in my country have similar design...though large majority of them are in darker color.
Way too well made. This is a next level. Aside from that, such things were very common in Central Asia. It was more durable than factory fabric seats and it was way better than cheap leather imitation seats.

So that's where my grandma's chairs went.
Honestly these go hard as fuck. I'd have them in my car.
It matches strikingly well with those $100k “Tuscan Kitchen” remodels of the 1990’s-early 2000’s
This looks like an older car. Possibly 70s era. Honestly, I think it fits the style of the era and it’s well done.
I prefer rich corrrrinthian leather myself, but to each their own.
I would kill for this in my beater, right now I have cracked vinyl seats that burn the fuck out of me on hot days.
That’s baller. I bet it smells like weed and cigars.
The carpet pissers did this??
Well dude, we just don't know. You're in a unique position to confirm or disconfirm...
This looks cool
Dope as fuck.
My cat would run out of the house and lean into a window just to barf on that.
I CAN SHOW YOU THE WORLD!
ngl 10/10 would sit in that
[удалено]
This looks verry Balkan to me, could be cool in a Lada
I want this in my minivan.
Shitty it's not a more common car mod
Nah that’s sick
I'm not a fan of the design, personally. It's too busy-looking. But, it was done well. The pattern is lined up and centered.
wow, i LOVE it. obviously this would be stupid for a new car, but an old beater with shitty fucked up seats? this is hilariously awesome. can anyone actually tell what kinda car this is? feels like an 80s merc
There's a part of me that doesn't hate it, but the rest of me hates the part of me that doesn't?
I love it
that's dope
This is sick
That's dope as hell
This is slick af … want them in my truck
Hell yes. Imagine getting laid in the back seat on a hot summer night and this cozy ass carpet is rubbing yours and your chicks skin?! *Fantasy unlocked*
I’d take that over sweaty vynal or leather any day.
Grandmother's car!!!
They look like 80's bus seats from the UK.
I'll admit that it's well executed but I immediately got a headache upon seeing this
I dig it
Zero percent shitty. Underneath could be absolutely shit stained & destroyed. Centered & cheap. No different to grandma's seat warmers / crochet seat covers.
It doesn't look that bad even though it gave me flashbacks of walking into my grandma's house.
Well, at a glance the car appears normal, but if the cops pull you over, the subterfuge won’t last. Next time, don’t let your buddy shoot Marvin in the face, and you won’t have to carpet over the upholstery to hide the brain matter and pieces of skull.
Still a good reference. Thank you Mr Wolf.
It really ties the interior together.
It really ties the car together.
Acceptable on Eastern European cars only. In fact, I need a lada with this interior.
r/mildlypenis
i fw it
I like it
I love em :B
Awful taste, great execution
This goes hard
Loving iy
"BOOM ! RUSSIAN CARPET EVERWHERE"
thought it was a service bus.
That's rug to see.
On some cars this would look amazing if done well
[Dusty](https://gifer.com/fr/NM00)
OH YEA!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
King Kennedy? Their stuff is actually super well executed.
I can smell this picture
Incredible. I both love and need it.
imagine this in a nice stock mint red E30. Super baltic vibes.
Anything's better than leather. Seriously though why do people like leather? It's burning hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter.
Damn, that's actually fly as fuck. Bro made seats out of my grandma's rug 🤯
That's pretty cool actually.
I can smell this fucking thing
The 70's called, they want their interior back
This car screams “I’m sexy and I know it”
Ugly as hell, but probably pretty damn comfortable
that's quality work
cars gonna start flyin like aladdin be warned
Well they'll never look dirty.
Great success!!!
I love it!
On an old resto mod. Hell yes
Reminds me of my grandmother’s Electra 225 interior. That was amazing.
