Because it's a children's movie, duh. Cartoon movies of animals or plants help them remember/learn about animals/vegetables/other inanimate objects. They can't just learn everything from books. Might also help them gain empathy for animals.
That's why children are getting brainwash into thinking that they can identify as cats, dogs, pigs etc
