I miss being a mailman. This one lady would come to the door in her nightgown every time. I really think there was a chance at a classic porn video story set up. But I never had the balls to press my luck. I got to see it all though. It was very loose and sheer. Offered me cookies and milk once. I'm positive I missed my chance that day and it will forever haunt me.
One time I was naked in my wife’s office stretching in the door frame facing the window and while the blinds were down, they weren’t *closed* and as I looked out the blinds, I made eye contact with an Amazon driver who was definitely close enough to see my entire form through the window.
A few seconds later, there’s a knock on my door. The absolute balls on that madlad. And I’m a big guy. It couldn’t have been pretty.
The haunting is real! I used to do yard work for an older, mid 60’s silver haired but cool grandma type woman, widow perhaps, who eventually had me in her house to watch CNN, drink ginger ale, and eventually go swimming in her pool (with her). She also had a fridge in the garage loosely stocked full of only Budweiser. Like, you couldn’t ever tell if a few were missing. Looking back, I was 17 and ompletely oblivious and heartbroken over some girl. Mistakes were made haha. Reading your post just made me connect the dots, for sure. Wowza.
I think a school bus driver would beat them all. The others have to coincidentally catch someone outside, or have a package for them to sign. The bus driver has all of the parents outside waiting for them to show up
Okay, for you sleep naked folks, u don't pee? Like ever? Becsuse otherwise u're going to be leaving the droplets other sensible fellows absorb in their underwear, in your bed linens. That is filthy disgusting caveman shit.
Well see there’s this wonderful invention called toilet paper. I know most who possess a penis are unaware of its efficiency at catching urine, but believe it or not, dabbing your tip a time or two isn’t going to make it fall off AND you don’t have to have piss on yourself. I know it sounds crazy but around half of the human population manages to rub it on ourselves multiple times a day without issue.
Heck, if it’s my day off, and I’m not going anywhere or doing any work outside, I’ll be out smoking in my pj’s throughout the day. Why change out of comfy clothes if you don’t have to?
From what I've seen, Target seems to try and put up a facade that it's more classy than it really is. Meanwhile, from what I've seen with Walmart, they're fully aware and accepting of not being classy. I've never found it straight up uncomfortable, but it's definitely off-putting at the very least.
These days I occasionally see grown adults in a mall or shopping center wearing pajamas. I don't really care or judge but I personally don't even like going out in sweatpants unless it's to maybe run in a gas station or something.
Can someone explain to me why any school bus driver would see someone in their pajamas? Where I live the school kids get picked up at bus stops or in front of there houses(at the street) and not inside there homes where some parents might still be in there pajamas
Many parents may bring their kids to the bus stop or be with them if it's outside their home. The parent may be getting ready for work later, or they might be off and don't want to change that early.
Police, binmen, shop workers, healthcare professionals, taxi drivers, school teachers, people who review cctv, anyone that has one of those days where you wear pyjamas to work for charity.
The list goes on.
How does this make sense? I've never seen a single person walk their kids to the bus stop in their pajamas.
Police, Paramedics and other emergency healthcare workers, homecare, firefighters, newspaper and home delivery workers and many more whose jobs involve going to/in people's homes. When I did renovations, several times the homeowners were in their pjs when we arrived to start the day.
Except for literally any job that brings one into people's homes. Delivery person, repair person, landscapers, garbage pickup, etc., etc., etc. Not to mention that plenty of adults wear pajamas in public anyway.
Have you all seen parents standing outside with their kids while in their pj's? Usually the kids stand outside by themselves/with friends/with any other students at the bus stop, from what I've seen.
Walmart workers
Target workers
Starbucks workers
Nail shop workers
Lingerie store workers,
And homeless people on the street...
Alll see more adults in pj's than bus drivers
The funny thing is, when the bus came to pick up my special needs kid for school, I was dressed and waiting impatiently, my swimsuit on under my clothes and my towel and stuff in the trunk. C’mon, I gotta go already.
With a special kid, you schedule *everything* for the four or five hours they are in school. So having the luxury of spending time with adults, having a swim and chatting with friends at the pool, I was never in my pajamas.
I'd argue that public safety has you beat.
Your observation as a bus driver is only parents of school-aged children (or at least it should be... if not, call us). 911/ first responders see adults of all ages in their PJs outside, inside, etc. regardless if they have children with them or not.
Or any other profession where you’re in residential areas in the morning. Mailman, garbage man, delivery person, lawn mowing, etc, etc.
Porch pirates
Not if you’re a good one
_profession_ Gotta class it up a little bit __portico privateer__
What? Does Ebay give out letters of marque to go after their competition at Amazon?
No but the IRS wants them to pay taxes on their acquired assets.

I think half the adult population wears their pajamas to Walmart nowadays…
I was going to say Walmart.
Walmart doesn't care about you, why should you care about how you're perceived at Walmart?
I dress as ugly as possible because the most scary men lurk at Walmart
I think a school bus driver would beat them all. The others have to coincidentally catch someone outside, or have a package for them to sign. The bus driver has all of the parents outside waiting for them to show up
I wear pj's way more than I don't. Shit, you might catch me on a date with the wife in my pjs.
I, too, sleep in my underwear. I’m wearing them now
I sleep naked. If you see me in my “PJs” you’ll be having nightmares for awhile. 🤣🤣🤣
Aren’t you always in your pjs?
I guess if you see me in ONLY my PJs. 🤷
Okay, for you sleep naked folks, u don't pee? Like ever? Becsuse otherwise u're going to be leaving the droplets other sensible fellows absorb in their underwear, in your bed linens. That is filthy disgusting caveman shit.

Yep. Sometimes I spend days in my pj's. Only putting on street clothes if I need to leave my apartment.
Or any profession on a day off and shopping in a store next to a housing estate...
Where do you live? Where I live it's rather unheard of. I quickly put some "normal" clothes when package delivery is at my door :p
Heck, if it’s my day off, and I’m not going anywhere or doing any work outside, I’ll be out smoking in my pj’s throughout the day. Why change out of comfy clothes if you don’t have to?
I agree. I don’t live in a halfway house, I don’t have to be up and dressed for breakfast at 8am lol
Same here. Neighbors and mailman are by now used to seeing me in sweats and a bathrobe while I'm out smoking on my porch
Fireman
Guess youve never been to walmart
I was going to say that Walmart workers probably see more adults in pajamas.
That's the difference between Walmart and Target shoppers. Putting pants on.
Target makes me uncomfortable and I can't figure out why.
From what I've seen, Target seems to try and put up a facade that it's more classy than it really is. Meanwhile, from what I've seen with Walmart, they're fully aware and accepting of not being classy. I've never found it straight up uncomfortable, but it's definitely off-putting at the very least.
It's the anti-kmart
I’d still definitely rather be in a Target than a Wallmart
I was gonna say college professors or anyone who works with college students but I think you have me beat.
This is more accurate. Bus drivers only see adults with kids. Walmart gets a chance to see everyone regardless of if they have kids.
He did say outdoors, but I mean they have to be outside there to walk in so…
Or an airport.
That’s not their pajamas that’s their formal wear
Or the airport! Pajamas, slippers, robe. Some are still wearing their bonnet, for craps sake.
I got to walmart the other day and realized i didnt have shoes. no one said anything.
Perhaps need to take longer showers. This wasn't very well thought out.
It makes no sense, and yet has so many movies.
Yeah, don't see how this has so many upvotes
You think this post has any semblance of accuracy and was worth reading?
Firemen, EMT's, care workers, police..
Yup. As volly, if it's a middle of the night call, I'm in PJs under my turnout gear. For EMS call, I see people in all kinds of conditions.
Photographers at adult pajama modeling shoots
Evidently hospitals do not exist. ...in addition to any service that travels through neighborhoods, like trash pickup, recycling, etc
Hospitals have people in pajamas inside. He said outside
These days I occasionally see grown adults in a mall or shopping center wearing pajamas. I don't really care or judge but I personally don't even like going out in sweatpants unless it's to maybe run in a gas station or something.
You don’t like being comfortable?
I do, but I prefer to look more presentable in public. The two aren't mutually exclusive either.
Food delivery drivers? Mail workers? Police? Am I reading this st wrong?
No, OP probably just overestimated their thoughts
“overestimated their thoughts” is a hilarious expression lmao
I'm a binman, I see it 5 days a week. Sometimes it's quite pleasant.
These takes are SO BAD right now.
Firefighters, police, and EMTs.
You ever been to Walmart?
Healthcare rehab therapist if our patients are not in gowns they are in pajamas too...
Delivery, police, ems, fire. Just to name a few
UCLA teachers seeing 90% of their students on pajamas show up to class
Nah, ice seen plenty. You just need a job where you get up early.
Door to door salesman?
At all? Seriously? Even if you qualified your statement with "more often" it still wouldn't be close to true.
Work in a mall and you'll see that
Use to live 2 minute from college, any teacher with clasees early in the morning saw me in pajamas.
*doordash and Uber have entered the chat*
Walmart workers see adults in pajamas quite often I suppose.
I should have mentioned this to the police officers before they arrested me.
Police do a lot. And firefighters. Paramedics, too. Plus delivery drivers, door-to-door sales people, gardeners, tradespeople, and local journalists.
Idk, people who work in the emergency department see a lot of adults in their PJs
Police, binmen, shop workers, healthcare professionals, taxi drivers, school teachers, people who review cctv, anyone that has one of those days where you wear pyjamas to work for charity. The list goes on.
You wouldn’t believe how many confused men I’ve seen in their underwear standing at the front door when I still delivered newspapers.
How does this make sense? I've never seen a single person walk their kids to the bus stop in their pajamas. Police, Paramedics and other emergency healthcare workers, homecare, firefighters, newspaper and home delivery workers and many more whose jobs involve going to/in people's homes. You said into people’s homes. OP said outside

I worked in a fruit shop once, would semi regularly get people in the PJs early in the morning and late at night
Sleep center specialists, everyone they see are there for sleep studies and in PJs
Nah, my mum's a deliver driver for a sandwich shop and apparently that's 99% of their customers.
I’m not sure….. I mean Walmart does still hire cashiers and have you been to a Walmart lately?
Goofy post. Or any store or public period. I sell motorcycles and people come in pajamas daily.
So basically I can post anything on showerthoughts is it?
Someone never been to Walmart.
Idk man, the mailman saw me in my pajamas once when I opened the door to get my mail after he moved to the next house.
mailman here. can confirm that bus driver is not the only profession experiencing this.
You've not seen the UK lately then? Where its now common to see folk walk around in onesies all day?
This post in US centered... again
I see plenty of adults in pajamas at the hospital
Stormy Daniels, according to the court reporter.
Firefighters, police...
I’m a teacher and kids come in pjs all the time. Equipped with fleece blankets and stuffed animals, too
Corner store clerk has seen me in my jammies...Many times lol
I don’t understand, is this an American thing? Literally never happens here
You have never worked in the tech industry
[Supermarket staff.](http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8484116.stm)
Someone never made it to Walmart before..
Uuummm, hard disagree, ever been to Walmart?
Not one single person who is responding really read what the OP actually said. He said OUTSIDE, people, OUTSIDE. Sheesh
Pre-2020 perhaps. Now it's pajamas-a-go-go.
i work at a store where they sell adult pajamas and i help people try them on. (i don’t)
I guess you don't visit the ER much. Just the hospital in general honestly.
You haven't been to Walmart in a while, have you...
Supermarket in the uk, onesys and Ugg boots
I wear theatre scrubs everyday.
Fireman/Police probably see quite a bit of it too.
Contractors have to be up there too... people know your showing up at 8am and still open the door half asleep in their underwear.
In this day in age, a lot of adults wear pajamas everywhere. Especially Walmart. Like get out of bed already.
In the UK you see people in supermarkets and corner shops in their pyjamas constantly.
I do my part to help everyone see an adult in pajamas.
Have you all seen parents standing outside with their kids while in their pj's? Usually the kids stand outside by themselves/with friends/with any other students at the bus stop, from what I've seen.
No the way people go out in public these days everyone sees them!
Walmart workers Target workers Starbucks workers Nail shop workers Lingerie store workers, And homeless people on the street... Alll see more adults in pj's than bus drivers
When I was a postal operative, I saw people in all states of undress. At least people put on pants to see their kids off to school.
Incorrect, we could just start with walmart employees...
Corner gas station clerks.
Anyone working at Walmart has entered the chat 😂
Hospitals. Basically all day, everyday.
I think the postmen would disagree with you on that.
Music producer walking their dogs. Source, me 🤣
Never been to a brick and mortar store? Never been in a classroom? been to a hotel or a resort? The list goes on and on.
Garbage guys, delivery guys, walmart.
You need to spend less time in the shower and more time outside kid
Anybody who works in a corner shop in Scotland sees people who live nearby in their pyjamas coming in everyday.
Corner stores. Gas stations. Some animal jobs. Game testers. Programmers sometimes. Those are just off the top of my head. I'm sure I can find more.
I would think more garbage truck drivers see people in PJs running.
Milk man has seen your wife in her pajamas
Fire fighters working the night shift probably do
Idk the man at my corner store sees me quite a lot
Gas station attendant
The funny thing is, when the bus came to pick up my special needs kid for school, I was dressed and waiting impatiently, my swimsuit on under my clothes and my towel and stuff in the trunk. Try working in a animation/graphics studio. People always be in their PJ's.

Garbage collection does sometimes too if they're late, which was often in the town I worked at haha
I worked nights at a 24 hour grocery store for a few years doing stocking / watching over self checkout and I’ve seen plenty of adults in pajamas.
What? I don’t even get the logic here lol.
Go to Walmart, jammies every day!
Wait . School bus drivers dont have uniforms anymore? I remeber they all did when i went to school in the 2000’s .
Teachers? There was a guy in my adult ed class that came in with a suit jacket and pajama pants every day.
Everyone that works in hospitals. People get outside for fresh air.
My 6-12 school had a pajama dress code. I’m not kidding.
Urologists that do vasectomies see a whole lot of blokes in their dressing gowns.
I see you've never been to a Walmart.
Warehouses. Literally Homer Simpson pj pants everyday
What adult wears pajamas? I've never met, heard of, or seen an adult in pajamas. ever. It's only on TV.
You’ve never dealt with the elderly or mentally ill, I see…
I mean this is just insanely wrong lol there’s dozens if not hundreds of jobs.
The amount of adults in PJs ive seen at supermarkets…
Not true people that study people's sleeping patterns will see these people a ton.
car wash at a strip club. Plenty of adults in their sleepwear outside ;)
Grocery clerks and gas station attendants see them as well.
Its true. So many parents. So so many
The garbage man sees me at my worst, by far.
Anyone who works in UK supermarkets will be sick of the sight of this kind of scummy chav behaviour by now.
Wal\*Mart employees, gym employees, truckers...
…why are school bus drivers seeing people in pyjamas?
used to be walmart but they aren't open late anymore
Can confirm source: am a bus driver
Walmart overnight employees arguably see more 18+ people in their pajamas than school bus drivers, mail people, trash collectors, and so on.
Emergency services would like to have a word.
Silicon Valley start-up founders?
You've obviously never been to school drop off or a supermarket.....
