My previous girl siamese I got the same way. Just looking and there was this adult siamese that came rubbing against the cage. I asked if I could hold her, they said yes, and she put her paws on my chest, closed her eyes and purred and purred while I pet her. That was the end of it, had to have her but had to get the ok from the apartment complex which I did and got her a day later. Just looking, indeed. They say you don't choose them, they choose you. That day it could not have been more true.
