Signal-Sky6

Update: I just found out about his litter, he was one of two Siamese kittens among 3 regular black kittens

Velbalenos

Do you know what breed the mother was? As cat litters can have multiple fathers, the different siblings may come from different fathers, or be latent genetic mutations (I think that’s a term!) passed on in the parents. Beautiful cat, either way.

Signal-Sky6

I emailed the adoption centre, and they replied that they have no clue who the parents are. but they stated they were confident that he is a Siamese or Himalayan cross. That’s all they know 😓. Love him either way tho!

Emergency-Letter3081

He is a domestic short hair with seal point coloring. Not a specific breed.

Bella-1999

A cute one! I would guess he’s a chocolate point mix.

Cute lil punkin! Your beautiful baby may or may not have any Siamese heritage. Color points come from a genetic mutation. The Siamese breed was developed from cats with that mutation. But the mutation still persisted in the general cat population, which is why there are color pointed cats that have zero Siamese breed ancestry.
