La Roche posay UVMUNE- it's like water, I can't even feel I'm wearing it. Spf50.
La roche posay fine mist spray (pump spray) is great but you can feel that (great for topping up on the go).
I replied earlier but have another suggestion for you (just bought it this week) - Eucurin, advance hydration lightweight SPF50.
I think it's going to be my new favourite SPF - hydrating, no caste, no fragrance and doesn't feel like sunscreen at all.
Bit thicker than a normal moisturizer when applied but quickly sinks.
Since he doesn't use a moisturizer this would be perfect as I tried with moisturizer and that was a bit heavier.
