Have you looked into the Ordinary products? They do a glycolic acid and retinoids, AHA and BHAs. Dermatica do prescription level tret. Also - just wanted to say I love Poland! Went there once and would like to go back once the pandemic is over.

I am very sceptical about ordinary. Seeing doctors review them they often describe them as non reliable and almost gimmicky because they have not been around long enough to be tested properly. Hvae you tried them? Poland is wonderful, I truly wish this pandemic goes to hell where it came from so we can all enjoy travelling again.

It depends on the product. There certainly are a lot of their products like this, but they also do a 0.2% retinol for example which is great. An great European alternative to the ordinary is Geek&Gorgeous, I think they’re Romanian. Every one of their products is excellent.

I tried quite a few products from the ordinary and wasn’t a fan. The concept is good but I’d rather spend a bit more for a formula that feels nice to use. The azelaic acid was my least favourite. It left a film of silicone on my face and pilled if I tried to put anything else on top. I was skeptical of Facetheory after my experience with The Ordinary but the porebright serum was highly recommended on here so I bought it together with the eye cream and have loved both. I’ll probably try a few more products from them when I start running out of other things.

I don’t rate the ordinary at all - I’m with you there! I don’t know what you can get there but look Inkey List? Failing that - sort a wish list of products and fund a willing friends to buy and post to you if you cover all the costs! ;)

Hi, Cerave has a site in Polish (cerave.pl) and I definitely saw some in a Rossman-like shop when I last visited. Pay attention to what sort of ingredients the products have that she talks about (I assume you mean Dr Dray) and you could probably find similar products. For example, Cerave is known for its ceramides (often with niacinamide), and Ziaja does some of their products with ceramides and other good ingredients like vitamin E, panthenol and so on. Admittedly they're not as elegant or light though.

There’s an amazing polish brand called Lynia who sell a urea + NMF gel toner that has 5% urea and 2% niacinamide - I love it so much I import it to England lol. Highly recommend it! They do a PHA toner too which looks amazing. Bielenda is another great polish brand, I tried their azelaic acid serum a couple years ago and it was the best non prescription azelaic I’ve used. Geek and Gorgeous are a great Hungarian brand, their vitamin C serum and retinaldehyde serum especially (I haven’t tried the latter but have heard such good things!). G&G’s exfoliants are meant to be top notch too

Thank you so much for the suggestions!

I think that it also depends where you are based. This is a UK group and you seem to be based in Poland. Poland and UK have very different products. If you are not intrested in the ordinary, and you are based in Poland, maybe have a look at drogeria pigment. I think that they have a lot of interesting products. Not sure about any peels tho.
