The rumor for October last I heard was from someone completely unreliable that has always spouted nonsense that hasnāt come true. The rumor for July however is from the same person who accurately leaked the sly 1 release.
I just discovered this when I got home from work I'm freaking out and they let you in the PS5 settings go rewrite the camera controls so they're not inverted anymore
I saw some games have even WAY MORE exponentially larger sizes (like 25gb vs 50gb difference). I remember always screenshotting them cause I didn't believe it. Though the reason I believe, is that it has something to do with the PS5 architecture and SSD. It doesn't need to waste resources on a cache is what is says online. So crazy how it takes up that much more space
I bought this last night, I've loved sly cooper ever since I was a kid, but I never actually played through the first game. And honestly I was expecting it to look a lot less like it did on the Ps2 but surprisingly it kinda looks exactly as it did back then
Thatās what I love about it. Personally I donāt want updated graphics. I think the original graphics are part of the charm. Iām just glad I donāt have to play with latency issues anymore
I'm hoping they'll go back & remake sly with updated graphics like how ratchet & clank is omg the sly games would look so beautiful but either way I'd be so happy if they bring the other 3 games back without having to stream it
Issa straight port, but it's probably due to whatever emulator is running,.plus the trophies, and all of the extra added features like the rewind and button mapping
Still. If it was actually an update on texture quality or anything it'd make sence, but this is just an emulator and trophies themselves should add far less than a single GB. A 6GB emulator is massive. It'd make sence if thr console already had the emu and you install only the games to it
It's literally the PS2 version as it was on the console. Only thing you will find is a texture bug near the end and mz ruby fight is sped up too much on PS4 version (it's fine on ps5 version)
They havenāt used the PS3 remaster but the original PS2 game, so the bugs arenāt present in this release: Sly is shrouded in shadow in the opening, and Mz Ruby doesnāt fall out of sync if you die

Got this last night. Only downside is they took away one of the in game movies.
Iām about finished the ps4 version only played a few hours honestly itās a god send for a trophy collector like myself 2 easy platinums on a fun game moving to daxter after that
I was sad enough to have these both downloaded and beat the ps5 version within the first 8 hours of it being available š then the next day I speed ran even quicker through the PS4 version. I can't wait for sly 2 to (hopefully) be added next I might actually spend far more time in that than I'd like to admit š
I donāt have a ps5 so Iād have to get it for ps4 and Iām wondering something. I heard Mz Rubyās boss fight is even worse on ps4 than it was on ps3. Is this true? I donāt want to buy another botched version of a game I own on two other consoles.
Iām not sure. Havenāt got there yet, but if you look through the replies of this post someone has already beaten both versions. Iām sure theyād know
It seams the consensus that they're doing 2 and 3 for sure. But since 4 was on ps3, and sony doesn't have an emulator for it, they're not going to do 4. Either way, getting a sly game is a fucking win.
I've got all 4 platinums for Sly 1, PS3, PS4, PS5 and PS Vita. Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter and Sly Cooper are games I will never be bored of.
Did you just play it again or do the ps4/5 saves auto pop it?
You have to do each list separate, same with Daxter and Tomb Raider Legend.

Honest question, how you do that? It annoys me so much to have the camera controls inverted.
Press options instead of right touch pad and go to controls. Option for reverse horizontal input is there somewhere

Wait why is it 8 Gigabytes? It's a single disk PS2 game. Those were at most 4GB

Possibly. Anytime you add extra anything to a file, it tends to increase the size.
