It’s a little piece of Tiffany Silver. I think it should’ve been swapped color scheme wise with the blue being the overall color. They probably wanted it more “sophisticated” and “understated” by making it dark with a small pop versus being “too loud”. That and it would make it look more like the OG SB, but that’s just my opinion
Tiffany’s target audience is women with whom white AF1’s are far more popular than black. It’s very lacklustre, they could’ve added some sparkle or done something with the iconic heart. I saw someone say they could’ve added blue ribbon laces, I think that would’ve been cool and lux. It feels cheap the way they’ve done it, there’s no luxury Tiffany look to it.
At $400 it does seem a lot cheaper than some other collabs of this type so I think expectations should be somewhat lowered, I still think they’re pretty disappointing though.
Tiffany only uses white ribbon (and red for the holidays) but I agree with someone else that blue stitching would have plussed it up.
If they had created the construction of a Tiffany box, in shoebox size with the Nike logo on it, I think that would help the price tag too.

That was kind of part of the joke: this kinda grimy skate shop on Fairfax appropriating the signature color of this high-end yuppie jewelry store. It was more in the tradition of Dapper Dan doing his Louis Vuitton prints for jackets that street hustlers wore—the combination of high and low, street and runway. Semi-bootleg. Semi-ironic. Like the streetwear equivalent of a sample. People who bought the Tiffany Dunks back in the day weren’t usually the types who would buy official Tiffany products. Because Tiffany was never cool!
