If you win, you will get limited. I’ve had sites cut me off after just a few bets. There is no breach, it’s just something you will have to learn how to deal with. Use PaddyPower. It’s the same thing.

Al_Swearengen_

Will the 'limited status' stop if you start losing money with the bookie again? or is it forever?

poster2019

Basically forever.

madscandi

How are you meant to lose money if you are limited?

poster2019

Paddy's will apply the same limit almost instantly if not instantly.

madscandi

They didn't for me at least. But I had both accounts prior to getting limited on betfair, so there might be a difference there. Betsson Group do not do the "limit one, limit all" type thing either.

mbntips

set up a new account with someones name you trust ie brother sister ect than pay them a one off fee as a thank you to them, get them to set up a new bank account that is only used for betfair and nothing else. have them give you all the details ect so you can set up online banking so you can tranfer money easily. this is against the T & C but as long as you use a vpn you should be ok. look into ways not to get your accounts limited in future or at least ensure they last longer

You can setup a Skrill too, or get a revolut card. Saves going through and bank account application.

madscandi

Revolut are not fans of gambling transactions. I know people who have been blocked for using it for that. Gaming companies don’t like Skrill and Neteller, because the player base using it is usually quite shrewd, so you might find yourself with lower limits from the beginning

poster2019

Blocked entirely using Revolut or just blocked using it on a gambling site? >Gaming companies don’t like Skrill and Neteller, because the player base using it is usually quite shrewd, so you might find yourself with lower limits from the beginning Indeed, I think the lay to lose cut by a massive fraction using an online wallet :(

madscandi

I know people who’ve had their Revolut accounts shut down entirely because of it

poster2019

Well that is pretty shit! Hope they got a warning before but probably not. I wonder what their issue is with it...

tfforums

Detail on the lines of cards / corners?

Druddy1

Obviously it varies - but i have found great succes and value in the portuguese league aswell as la liga and the segunda Corners is usually just gut feeling when a team is chasing / knowing which teams play a certain way (Eibar,Kiel,Roma etc.)

poster2019

Is there a chance you can bet in shop?

BazingaQQ

What kind of ROI do you have to generate in order to get limited? Or is it based on win percentage?

peruvianhope

its based if hes beating the closing lines. If he beats them euro bookies limit asap

PeteWTF

Have a look on the exchange under the promotions tab and see if you have one about promotional pricing. You should have the offer of paying 8% commision or 5% commision both of which give you some free bets and stuff and keep you electable for bonuses and the higher one gives you cash back on your losses each month (you probably still would not be) but there is also an option to pay 2% commission and opt out of all bonuses and free bet offers. If you intend to keep using the exchange make sure you opt in to the 2% one since they have essentially made the decision for you

hiimcdub

I feel like this happens to EU betters waaaaay more than American ones

GizmoMassive

Thats more because Americans bet from the “heart” on their favorite teams... so the house makes a killing and don’t care if someone has made 2.5k from them.

hiimcdub

well yeah but surely not ALL americans. I think it has more to do with the legality of it all

Betfair have Sportsbook and Exchange. He won at Sportsbook so Betfair limited him.

MikkoH37

Well, it is a sort of "unwritten rule" and we all know it that if you are a winner, the house does not like you and wants to be rid of you. Try Betfair white label exchanges such as Orbit Exchange and find brokers that accept winning players. I play in Betcoinbookies for 2 years, i am a winner, and they haven't limitated me. They do not charge any transaction fees and they payout very fast. You need to have cryptos though.

danaseymour

For anyone who comes to this 4 years later like I did after being limited, get ahead of the curve and switch to a decentralized peer to peer betting exchange like SX Bet. It's the only place where you can get down size at better odds than any other book without the fear of being limited the next day for winning.
