I mean, Sally has always been naked, like most animal characters. She only wears shoes and a vest that doesn't cover anything, she didn't even have the vest for the first season of SatAM and the first 20 or so issues of the comic.
The real problem is that issue was drawn by one those old comic artists who only draw women one way, and since Sally is the only character in a full-page intro panel, she's way too detailed and humanistic and doesn't look at all like the body proportions of a Sonic character. It's the uncanny valley.
No, no... he *took their agency over*. Charmy, Espio, Vector, Amy, Cream... they all work for ***him*** now. The only ones who don't are tech magnate Tails (who'll still help out however he can) and Shadow, now a full-on stooge for the G.U.N.

As an artist myself, I strictly only use Twitter to follow other artists’ work and specifically changed the settings to avoid as much news and controversy as possible. It’s still designed to close you in a hate bubble, but at the very least you can have some control on how strong said bubble can affect your life.
Archie Sonic has an existing side character named Spike: A porcupine fanboy who formed a Sonic-based trio to aid the Freedom Fighters. Perhaps Sonic's gotten close enough to Spike to name his child after him.

Okay. The superficial stuff first. 1. Their designs blend well together. Both being purple cats gives them a cute design similarity, while also being on total opposite ends of the size chart. Blaze in two inch heels is eye level to the cast, and is extremely slender, while Big is...big. Giving them cute design difference.
But it isn't just so simple. Their personalities open up some amazing dynamics.
Blaze is a princess, often stressing her self about meeting her own personal standards, she is well spoken and formal...with the social grace of a brick. Struggling to grasp even the basic social interactions.
While Big is a bumpkin, with a bit of a dull wit and simple thinking often so unconcerned about stress that the only thing to worry him is his friends being I'm trouble, speaking of friends, Big is a social butterfly. Swiftly making deep long friendships with people who just met thanks to his shockingly high emotional awareness.
Heck! I can even tie their abilities together! Big is the single most durable member of the cast! He comfortably hangs out in artic water, nuclear coolant/reactor water, inside of volcanoes, and fields of highly toxic gas. It is 100% safe to say, Blaze wouldn't need to hold her self back just because Big is near by. He can Tank it regardless of how much she turns up the heat.
That seems like a solid concept, I respect your opinion.
I've always personally thought they'd be closer to (somehow) relatives, their similar designs of being purple cats with yellow eyes makes me think they're somehow related.
Maybe Big is Blaze's father? Hell of a stretch, I know, but I feel that maybe there's something there for SEGA to possibly explore.

But with the confusion around Blaze’s back story we'll likely never see it outside of fan works. Oh. Wait. Unless she is from the future, so he could be like her great great grandfather(but i ignore the 06 aspects of her story to the best of my ability lol) either way...it is a mess.
I do like some crack ships (I think Surge x Amy counts, not too sure on that) but I don't think Big x Blaze is one of those. More power to you if you like it though!
