A couple things going on: firstly, you can really push iso with blowing snow because the grain pattern will end up getting lost in the snowflakes.
Secondly, I used NeatVideo Reduce Noise as a Premiere plugin and it does an amazing job (despite being absolute hell on your computer resources)

I know you probably weren't going for something super polished here, but from an editing perspective, put that 2nd shot first up, it's a much better opener.
