Me and a rag-tag group of former Helldivers steal a ship and jettison off to explore the universe. We've turned the ship into a traveling casino and bring our games to different planets like some kind of boozy carnival. One of those planets turns out to be overrun with zombies and mutants. After we crash-land there, we are forced fight for our survival as we scavenge the supplies needed to repair our ship, while making time for card games every night and offering fun and relaxation to whatever is left of the local population. Most people are dead, but the former queen lives and joins our motley crew. Cue the romance storyline.

so Im in a japanese inspired post apocalyptic desert that has a mix of modern and futuristic guns, assuming theres no player creatures like gorse and the half life critters are a natural spawn. im pretty screwed if I stray too far from cities, probably best to grind out a good weapon like a sword or one of the many laser weapons, definitely the healing or blod clotting syringe cause even if they arent infinite use like in their original game, having a save like that on hand would be godly. also high tech androids and possibly combine around, conglomerating their tech will probably aid me tons. though if I do get player treatment aside from respawning n such I may just get the toolgun from the start and have very little issue spawning everything id ever need and make an army of op soldiers not only with the best kit from all games but have no issue healing any damage they do take
oh and either people playing chess can warp their pieces back in time or everyone can go back in time if they figure it out. hard to really consider cause goddamn its dumb

Conan's clusterfuck with rogue Lightbearers in the mix doesn't sound good for uncontrolled territories. Anywhere within Vanguard jurisdiction is likely fine, though. TFS is coming up soon but it doesn't *appear* to involve anything on Earth itself, rather us on the offensive, so shouldn't impact the common citizen much. And AtO I don't think has substantial enough worldbuilding to factor in beyond adding anthro races.
I think so long as I stay safely within the Last City, I'm fine. If I'm for any reason forced to leave the walls (or approach the New Tower), though, shit quickly goes south.

This all takes place from the viewpoint of Arthur Morgan, a man who is cannot adjust to the leap in technology, actively trying to sabotage the project, believing that it will ultimately fail and that there are other ways to solve it.

Uhhh...so that would be Balatro (a poker-themed roguelike deckbuilding card battler) with infusions of Helldivers 2, Lonestar, Reigns: Her Majesty, and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. Me and a rag-tag group of former Helldivers steal a ship and jettison off to explore the universe. We've turned the ship into a traveling casino and bring our games to different planets like some kind of boozy carnival. One of those planets turns out to be overrun with zombies and mutants. After we crash-land there, we are forced fight for our survival as we scavenge the supplies needed to repair our ship, while making time for card games every night and offering fun and relaxation to whatever is left of the local population. Most people are dead, but the former queen lives and joins our motley crew. Cue the romance storyline.

oookay in newest to oldest of playing its: kenshi, people playground, 5D chess, carrion, and gmod so Im in a japanese inspired post apocalyptic desert that has a mix of modern and futuristic guns, assuming theres no player creatures like gorse and the half life critters are a natural spawn. im pretty screwed if I stray too far from cities, probably best to grind out a good weapon like a sword or one of the many laser weapons, definitely the healing or blod clotting syringe cause even if they arent infinite use like in their original game, having a save like that on hand would be godly. also high tech androids and possibly combine around, conglomerating their tech will probably aid me tons. though if I do get player treatment aside from respawning n such I may just get the toolgun from the start and have very little issue spawning everything id ever need and make an army of op soldiers not only with the best kit from all games but have no issue healing any damage they do take oh and either people playing chess can warp their pieces back in time or everyone can go back in time if they figure it out. hard to really consider cause goddamn its dumb

Gotta think here. Iirc, that's Destiny, followed by Across the Obelisk, Conan Exiles, and Halo Infinite. Hm... I've yet to play the Infinite campaign because I refuse to pay for it, so idk if there's any threat to Earth involved, but the UNSC+Post-Covenant would probably fit into Light vs Dark fairly easily. Conan's clusterfuck with rogue Lightbearers in the mix doesn't sound good for uncontrolled territories. Anywhere within Vanguard jurisdiction is likely fine, though. TFS is coming up soon but it doesn't *appear* to involve anything on Earth itself, rather us on the offensive, so shouldn't impact the common citizen much. And AtO I don't think has substantial enough worldbuilding to factor in beyond adding anthro races. I think so long as I stay safely within the Last City, I'm fine. If I'm for any reason forced to leave the walls (or approach the New Tower), though, shit quickly goes south.
