Although that conclusion would've been much more pleasing and less time consuming than the poop god travesty
Edit: I should've mentioned that I didn't actually want to see Anyas belly being cut open. I meant that the Military General or whatever that guy is should've thought about that first. The movie would be 5-10 minutes shorter, but I would be fine with it.
Letâs me see:Â Â
We got cute Anya! (She never disappoints!)  Â
We got cute Bond! (Neither does he!)   Â
We got Twiyor! (The Ferris Wheel scene and drunk Yor was perfection!)   Â
We got family moments! (I love Loid and Anyaâs reunion and the steering wheel part! I also love how both Loid and Yor beat up those guys because of Anya!)Â Â
We got spy action! ( Loid vs Sindel can be consider this payback time after beating Loid in a wit contest! Loid pulled a 500 IQ move in this battle and the final Jojo Bizzare Adventures animation was amazing! The aerial combat prior was cool too! So was Fiona!) Â
We got assassin action! (Damn, Yor vs Type F was awesome! If you guys thought Yorâs at her best in the Cruise Arc, you havenât seen anything yet! She just took down the terminator! Our Mama Bearâs finisher was literally fire!)Â
We also get Attack on Titan, Jojo Bizzare Adventures, and Studio Gibli animations!
Good use of the side cast - pretty much everyone from season 1 got a speaking role, which was nice.
That super soldier guy was built like a mechanical version of Mister X that was cool.
Loid getting beaten at the Colonelâs taste testing game keeps him from just being a flawless super spy and establishes the villainâs credibility pretty early.
It was a good distillation of the series into a single plot for everyone, and since the story is overall inconsequential you can slot it in almost anywhere if you'd like or not.
And I loved the "flirty" moments where Anya read their minds but there's no dialogue so we can infer what they were thinking about each other.
Yor's fight scene was a great way to show her wits and not just her brawn.
Loid's arc and subsequently the entire plot revolves around Loid trying to stay in charge of Operation Strix, and thus, stay with Yor and Anya. Agent Twilight from the start of the story would've changed missions at the order. The movie shows that Loid is truely starting to care about being a family and not just a mission. That's epic.
Anya didn't get gutted like a fish.
As my first time watching something related to Spy x Family (even tho I've watched shorts about it on YouTube), I'd say the dynamic between the 4 Forgers is amazing, even if they're not a blood related family.
Nice and pleasing first act.
Second act was action packed and beautifully animated with Loid flying the plane through those airship batteries blasted at him. And while I feel like Type F was underutilised for how cool he was, that fight between him and Yor was epic.
I watched in 4D so the experience was even more immersive.
Anya and Bond were adorable as usual too.
Honestly would give it a solid 8.5/10
4D/4Dx is basically regular 2D but you can 'feel' the movie from your seat.
So for example whenever there was a fight scene like when Loid was flying that plane and avoiding those turrets, the seats moved and swayed accordingly, like a roller-coaster. Whenever there was smoke or fog in the movie, the room would start to fill with smoke too.
Flashing lights or fires? The lights would light up accordingly.
Water? You'd get sprayed in the face, legs or behind you depending on where it comes from in the movie.
Snow? It would start falling from the ceiling.
Any one gets punched? You'd feel it too from the back of your seat like someone punched you from behind with a boxing glove, ofcourse with much less force so it doesn't actually hurt, lol.
Smells too, whenever there's a scene of flowers for example, you can smell them too.
Wind? You'd feel it in your face too.
That's the best description I can give.
It's the first anime movie I've seen in the cinema so every funny, sweet, or cool moment felt even more enhanced. There weren't many people in when I went so it was also nice hearing everyone laugh along to the same gags. The people behind be really liked Yor's goofiness.
This movie is complete fan service(which is a great thing)and is still understandable for anyone whoâs never seen the show being a fun watch whoever walks into the movies
That Yor vs Type-F fight was đ„đ„đ„. The way they move the camera point of view wildly to follow the characters reminds me a lot of how Wit Studio used to do their fights for their older series like Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga.
I like how they managed to work with two different tropes I hate. First, the romantic misunderstanding. I was expecting it to continue throughout the whole movie perhaps even getting in the way of the climax. When characters who are supposed to like each other start fighting, it makes me want to melt into my seat. Thankfully, it's resolved before the movie is even half over, almost as if the writers are telling us "This isn't important enough to get in the way of the cool spy action."
The other tastefully subverted trope was the gross-out regarding the attempts to get Anya to poop. As someone whose childhood coincided with the late-90s, I was afraid that this would go the way of gross-out shows of that time. Thankfully, these writers were smart enough not to disgust the audience. Instead, we got the poop god visuals and they were gorgeous.
Finally, to quote a meme, If I had a nickel for every movie in which a character tries to get a child to poop out the macguffin, I'd have two nickels, which isn't that much, but it's weird that it happened twice. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birds\_of\_Prey\_(2020\_film)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birds_of_Prey_(2020_film))
The soundtrack. It's got some genuinely fantastic pieces. If you haven't heard the OST, do so. There's some tracks that are much better when they're heard alone (no dialogue/sound effects).
I would buy a full ost today if it existed on CD. Take my money Japan! Know Name does great stuff.
The action and comedy were amazing!
The subtlety of the emotional notes of the film were beautiful to watch unfold onscreen.
I loved all the new meme faces of Anya's ofc.
Love that all our fav characters got their scenes- even the Franky post-credit scene (my poor boi đ)
Loved the symbolism of them getting closer together, as a family!
The fact that the continuity of the manga/anime weren't impact by this film makes it almost cannon for me which makes me super happy!
I loved it!!
The different animation styles (poop god scene, the scene between Twilight and the Commander, too good, and ofc Yor vs. F), the action and the animation went very well together.
As usual dialogues and voice acting was god tier (I watched Japanese sub).
The animation was great. Loved that the Forgers once again prove that they are a family. Laughed a lot with Anya and the poop god. Loid in action and Yor fight were done so good.

Literally this part. (Also the opening scene holy SHI-)
The Lipstick Oil-Fire Scene was so cool!
How they all worked together to push the steering wheel like Loid got hit wit he debris falling and Yor and Anya came coming to help :D
I'm commenting again lol anyways
ALSO THAT FERRIS WHEEL SCENE WAS GREAT BUT TO SAY I DIDN'T GET A HEART ATTACK WHEN THE DOOR GOT SWUNG OPEN IS A LIE THAT SCARED THE FREAK OUT OF ME
I dont know what he said in english, but this captain and his "Dönermesser" [Kebab knife] will possess my brain forever.
Also really love Anyas delivery in the cooking class! Girls learning some real charisma
Don't even care how unrealistic the dude was, Yor's fight scene was badass! Also, they really dosed Loid in near-perfect husband and father in this movie lmao. They leaned in just right on them as family too. All in all, perfect mix of action and sweetness.
Also I did laugh way too hard at the poop joke, despite this coming up as a lot of people's least favourite thing.
It was incredibly silly, the plot was thin and made no sense, there were some glaring plot holes (how is twilight able to imitate people so fast, this is bordering on magic), and it is not clear if any of it will be canon. And yet⊠I loved every second of it
The steering wheel part đ„Č- yor drinking - the lady giving bond a dinner - the sugar taste test - yuri and nightfall being obsessive weirdos - most all the minor characters got a line at least - it felt like the show just on a larger scale. The different animation styles looked so beautiful on the big screen
Honestly I was kind of shocked at the end to find out that he actually followed orders and stayed home. I think the movie had enough going on that he wouldn't have had much to do
This movie is just warm. Thats how I felt. LOL The jokes and show matched perfect. The timing... In the series it finished with what I felt was the family getting stronger in PUBLIC and by that I mean as the Season 2 went on I felt the fame going on these mission vacations has got me loving it. I know it seems weird but the the aircraft scene in CODE White was so cool they basically saved an tried to save each other. I don't know how to explain it but I love this show. :)
watched it with \~10 other friends. we were the loudest ones in the room and that was when we were trying to suppress our laughter XD Very good balance of comedy, suspense, action, drama, and others!
It was basically spy family the greatest hits. Everything and everyone's quirks from the manga and anime were present. Yuri and Franky were only cameos but they acted EXACTLY how you would want them to act.
A lot of these first movies are basically just that, extended episodes that take place in a bubble and I'm used to it. A second film should be less "hey look at this thing from the anime but on the big screen" and more hitting the ground running with a deeper story.
I watched the film at a 4D showing and it was amazing. I felt like I was 10 years old again (I'm 37).
Key moments for me would be Loid and Yor on the Ferris wheel.
Yor and Anya playing in the hotel room.
The whole airplane fight, which was made even better with the movement of our seats and wind blowing in our faces.
Yor's fight with F was amazing.
Loid's fight.
Them all turning the wheel of the airship before crashing into the lake.
But to be completely honest I'm going to come across as a complete fan girl, I loved everything including the poop god.
Sorry for the formatting I'm writing this on my phone.
All the character three main scenes where amazing, Loid piloting the plane was surprising amazing, Yor fighting the cyborg dude toptier (the lipstick was kinda BS but okay its a family movie) but the anya best scene is a poop joke, the animation was one of the most beautiful i have seen.... but its a poop joke
I thought the animation was good. I was a little worried when the haiyku(?) trailer came on before the film which looked really low quality. The poop scene was some very different looking animation to the rest of the anime which was great.
Loid in full drag. Also, he started the transmission in the female voice when he didnât have to. Also the shot of him with the mask off while still wearing the necklace and dress
We had Anya hallucinating so hard and girl, I want whatever she has in her head. The god of poop sequence (or however is it called in English ver.) was just hilarious.Â
Yor's lipstick GODDAMN.
Also extremely good use of the cast. The writing was good with very good pacing (even if some parts relies a lot on suspension of disbelief, but I mean... it's SxF. Loid and Yor are absolutely oblivious anyway you put it).Â
This movie is basically a 4 episode mini-arc that incapsulates everything SxF is and is super-enjoyable. If they want to do another "summer version" as hinted I'd be totally fine with it.
No child's belly was cut open at any point in the movie đ
Although that conclusion would've been much more pleasing and less time consuming than the poop god travesty Edit: I should've mentioned that I didn't actually want to see Anyas belly being cut open. I meant that the Military General or whatever that guy is should've thought about that first. The movie would be 5-10 minutes shorter, but I would be fine with it.
This guy ^ just said he'd rather see Anya cut open and killed
Edit
That shit was hilarious bro đ. Iâm here for a good time not a serious time

Please get helpâŠ.
I'm not even religious but seek god
Edit
What.
I edited my comment
Yea cause you canât handle the karma your getting
Bruh i didnât care for that scene either but what the fuck

your edit isnt going to save you. This comment was GROSS.
Ok
Exactly

Letâs me see:   We got cute Anya! (She never disappoints!)    We got cute Bond! (Neither does he!)     We got Twiyor! (The Ferris Wheel scene and drunk Yor was perfection!)    We got family moments! My favorite part was Anya and Yor playing in the hotel. Usually wholesome moments between the two are my favorite in the show too
>(The Ferris Wheel scene and drunk Yor was perfection!) What does Yor do whilst drunk in this film?
CW Yor fight scenes > Cruise Arc Yor fight scenes
I loved they showed Yor fighting, I think we have not seen her being badass enough (at least in anime, I haven't read the manga).
Her dodging the bullets from the turrets and that Winter Soldier looking guy was amazing. Yor Briar sure lives up to her title as a top assasin.
I literally said to my kids, of this is one of the missions they sent Bucky Barnes on during his lost years.
Manga is more comedic than action and yor has by far the lowest âscreenâ time from the Main cast so you are right
Good use of the side cast - pretty much everyone from season 1 got a speaking role, which was nice. That super soldier guy was built like a mechanical version of Mister X that was cool. Loid getting beaten at the Colonelâs taste testing game keeps him from just being a flawless super spy and establishes the villainâs credibility pretty early.
Except for Yuri. He had no reason being in this movie at all and contributed nothing to the story.
Neither did franky
That's generally the case with Yuri, though.
It was a good distillation of the series into a single plot for everyone, and since the story is overall inconsequential you can slot it in almost anywhere if you'd like or not. And I loved the "flirty" moments where Anya read their minds but there's no dialogue so we can infer what they were thinking about each other.
I loved that so much but was also like "BRO COME ON- MY SHIP"
100% the poop god. It was adorable and the engacho on the shirt was a nice touch. Flying by fart made me laugh way too hard.
I really gotta commend them for sparing no expense on the toilet humor.
It made me laugh, it was silly, idk why everyone is annoyed by it lol
When it ended I was surprised that she had not, in fact, pooped.
Same
Bc they're lame.
Lmao I couldn't stop laughing at that scene. Such an overused joke done well.
I usually hate bathroom humor but this was peak
Gonna sound like a fanboy and say: everything.
I really loved when Loid beat up those two guys that took Anya in the airship⊠it was giving Papa bear
The movie finally display Yorâs battle intelligence And sheâs smart in how to bear an enemy far beyond her usual strength
The fact that the microfilm was in her teeth the whole time was hilarious
Visually beautiful. Seeing the Forgers be together fills me with joy.
Poop God scene.
Yor is in it :D
As my first time watching something related to Spy x Family (even tho I've watched shorts about it on YouTube), I'd say the dynamic between the 4 Forgers is amazing, even if they're not a blood related family.
Final Loid fight
Nice and pleasing first act. Second act was action packed and beautifully animated with Loid flying the plane through those airship batteries blasted at him. Oh wow. That sounds cool, kinda.. but I get migraines and it's probably mess me up.
Yeah, if you can get motion sick or are sensitive to sudden movements then it isn't for you, understandably.
It's the first anime movie I've seen in the cinema so every funny, sweet, or cool moment felt even more enhanced. There weren't many people in when I went so it was also nice hearing everyone laugh along to the same gags. The people behind be really liked Yor's goofiness.
Way down south here, I was the ONLY person in the theater. At a 2:15 showing on a Sunday
Small thing I appreciated was that the flashback with Yor and Yuriâs childhood didnât involve a gag about her hitting/poisoning/traumatizing him.
The fight between Twilight and Colonel Snidel was awesome
This movie is complete fan service(which is a great thing)and is still understandable for anyone whoâs never seen the show being a fun watch whoever walks into the movies

EVERYTHING.

Didnt watch it yet, but its perfect 100% i just know
The series didnât forget Yor. Way too often in the series does it feel like she is left on the back burner.

The sparkles (ash???) at the end
Oh I thought that was just snow. I thought ash is grey/black
No I think your right
Haven't seen it yet sadge because poor. :(
Its a movie
FACTS
It has Yor
Ferris wheel
Dogđ
Spoiler Spoiler! The poop god stuff was weird but I LOVED the art style for it
I loved Loidâs fight!!! Each of the characters had their moment to shine! (I watched it dubbed and I love the dubbed voices)
i watched this movie 3 months ago. tbh the animation is pretty good, kinda well humor and the ending is amazing. i would rate this movie 8.5/10
It deserved better marketing..
Fiona got some screen time because it felt like ages to see her appear.
The Lipstick Oil-Fire Scene was so cool! How they all worked together to push the steering wheel like Loid got hit wit he debris falling and Yor and Anya came coming to help :D

The whole airship scene was awesome, it reminded me of the one from Battlefield 1, but more badass
Her stupid brother didn't play a big part in it
Honestly I was kind of shocked at the end to find out that he actually followed orders and stayed home. I think the movie had enough going on that he wouldn't have had much to do
Poop god! And the scene where Anya looked super cute holding the wheel
Great movie for the fans and newcomers, people got so excited when each of the cast was shown in my theater haha.
Has Anya in it. W
This movie is just warm. Thats how I felt. LOL The jokes and show matched perfect. The timing... Anya or the entire movie
It was a fun ~~shit~~ movie.
watched it with \~10 other friends. we were the loudest ones in the room and that was when we were trying to suppress our laughter XD Very good balance of comedy, suspense, action, drama, and others!
POOP GOD!!
where did you guys even watch it i couldnt even find it on cruchyroll
Itâs still in threaders
It was basically spy family the greatest hits. Everything and everyone's quirks from the manga and anime were present. Only bad guys said 'Shit', so kids watching think its what bad people do
Where can i watch it ?
We see proof that Loid doesnât want operation Strix to end !
I watched the film at a 4D showing and it was amazing. I felt like I was 10 years old again (I'm 37). Key moments for me would be Loid and Yor on the Ferris wheel. Itâs the most fun Iâve had going to the cinemas all year!
All of it. Saw it with my girl. Was just happy to be there. :)
We had cosplayers in the cinema. Good time.
Everything
Didn't watch it
Now praise my score
I watched it yesterday, it was so sweet! Somehow the same "overused" jokes made me crack a lot.
Adam smasher was a good addition
If you go into it expecting a cute yet inconsequential side story featuring the forger family, you won't be disappointed.
I think the poop god trip was a bit over the top, but her scooby doo chase scene while desperately trying not to poop her pants was hilarious
So much Yor đ„°
I'm a huge Loid x Fiona shipper and I love all the Loid x Fiona crumbs we got in the movie. They will keep me fed and satisfied for so long.
I thought the animation was good. I was a little worried when the haiyku(?) trailer came on before the film which looked really low quality. The poop scene was some very different looking animation to the rest of the anime which was great.
OMG I LOOVED THIS MOVIE !!! me and my bf went to see it we loved the show and the movie was just as good the whole đ©thing and then the reveal had me crackin tf up cause omg đ the whole theater and me were ctfu the whole movie â€ïžâđ„ the ONLY bad thing was no move theater had the popcorn bucket and cup and i really wanted that bucket and cup đđ
the moment when she realizes her papa came for her đ and when they were finally reunited i love seeing loids feelings when they cross his face he loves her đ©· and yor does too her mothering moments is what i live for and shes a bad bitch! she took down type f smart af when NO damage!!!
gave a taste of what we could get in the manga and i want more
I haven't seen it but I heard it's good
watching loid was like watching a playthrough metal gear solid watching yor was like watching a playthrough of metal gear rising
Loid in full drag. Also, he started the transmission in the female voice when he didnât have to. Also the shot of him with the mask off while still wearing the necklace and dress
a historical fiction movie about the cold war, a very cute, fun, and enjoyable historical fiction about the cold war.
We had Anya hallucinating so hard and girl, I want whatever she has in her head. The god of poop sequence (or however is it called in English ver.) was just hilarious. Yor's lipstick GODDAMN.  Also extremely good use of the cast. If they want to do another "summer version" as hinted I'd be totally fine with it.
The fact that Iâm waiting for it to be on Crunchyroll so I donât have sit next to a Spy x Family die hard
You could just go see it now. Not many in the theaters post-first week
Ok
I went yesterday and it was practically empty, lol.
Thatâs good
