I don't like how Teej wrestlers lose so easily to the gaijin. With Yuka Sakazaki leaving and Maki Itoh and Miyu Yamashita spending more and more time in the US, they really need to start building up women like Miu Watanabe, not having her job to AEW midcarders.
Anyway, the main event between Maki Itoh and Mizuki was incredible! 20 stars!!!
The main event was really good and a pretty fun show overall but left feeling a bit disappointed. Felt it didn’t quite hit the heights I was expecting.
Haven’t been watching TJPW long or do I regularly watch it but Mizuki vs Maki definitely has to be the best match I’ve seen from the promotion since I have.
I just started watching a few STARDOM shows that i could find online, and i'm really enjoying it. would anyone be able to explain how TJPW differs from STARDOM?
TJPW focus on characters and is more "sports-entertaining" while Stardom have more focus on in ring.
Not to say that is uniform statement, but in my viewing that's the vibe that I get
TJPW was founded as an offshoot of DDT and has more of an emphasis on characters and humour as opposed to the focus on athleticism in modern Stardom. It's more of a difference of degree though, and there are plenty of great workers in TJPW.
Nyla and Miu just had their pre-show press conference and they're already showing some good chemistry. Can't wait to see what they put together for their match,

This was my first time watching tjpw, it was quite good.
Unsurprising that the three-way tag match was the best match of the night, Shoko needs a title again soon.
Surely one of the best Teej matches ever.
Holy crap. That was an all-timer.

TJPW is DDT, but women Stardom is NJPW, but women

ah okay thanks i'm gonna give TJPW a try then
Thankfully IP title match was good, hopefully main devilers
Damn, Saki making her watch like that... Cucked
First above average of the night for me
Fuck me this show has been drainingly average at best so far.
that chair spot was disappointing first time seeing sawyer and i’m not a huge fan tbh
Unprotected headshots always make me flinch.
Oh damn, I didn't know the height difference was THAT much
khan going over
Good match for what was essentially a substitute.
thought Miu was gonna win for sure
Max is such a great Monster for Teej
Aja kong whit the pillow
Ready for a super heavyweight battle between Max, Aja Kong, and Shoko
MOTY time
Wasn't a big fan of Vert vs Hikari
Vert Vixen enters to Street Fighter II music and immediately becomes one of my favorite wrestlers.
Surprised to see Nao get the pin in that match but I’m not complaining at all. She’s one of my favorites
That was a HARD hitting match.
I'm hoping we get to see Venyu again whenever TJPW get around to crowning new tag champions
Veny and Ryo segement was great, rest of match was kinda lacking.
Aniki's intro got interrupted and she's pissed.
there's a LOT of personality/charisma going on in the ring entrances for this match
That poor girl's foot nearly touched her HEAD.
Himawari supremacy
Kiryu needs to lead a stable of rookies who she teaches how to wrestle so she can call it "Ma Hiro Academia"
First match was fine, rookies match has been very rookie match.
Neko a draw brother.
Those streamers are hilarious. They should have a match in a ring full of streamers in DDT.
Damn didn’t see Arisu tapping Juria, that was fun
Happy to see Juria back. Give Daisy Monkey a shot at the Princess tag team titles
BRING SAKISAMA TO AEW DAMNIT
The voice of Ash Ketchum is on Japanese commentary. That's why Namba was crying- she's a massive fan.
Why is Namba crying?
Ash Ketchum is 10 feet away from her
I'm not emotionally ready for the end of Neo Bishie Gun. I live in hope for perhaps arai taking over with her own persona
I’m bummed we’ll never get a Sakisama PoP reign
Come on, Maki! Fourth time’s the charm!
She knows the power of the pizza cutter now, Mizuki doesn't stand a chance.
Nyla and Miu just had their pre-show press conference and they're already showing some good chemistry. Can't wait to see what they put together for their match,
Miu is terrified of Nyla at the press conference
Show starts in an hour for those curious
