And it actually created depth for his character due to Christian, who talked shit about his father, being who he saw as really having his back over Darby, who he thought he could rely on but who basically shrugged off Nick's attack by The Mogul Embassy. Darby saw him as an equal but treated him almost like any other member of the roster, Christian treats him like his heir.
I think his height, especially by 80s WWE standards, may have hurt him, but otherwise you are definitely right. In terms of his build/body he comes across like an 80s wrestler down to the juice.

Can't even begin to understand why their last 2 TV hours the night before a PPV were pre-taped with an exhausted crowd and a B show set of matches and midcard promos that aren't related to the PPV. I'm a huge AEW fan but this episode is just not good.
